one of the big emerging patterns for me was the catholic church method of disinformation and how it differed from other sources. They will write a 500 page book to install 2 pages of disinformation. it's really interesting. Malachai Martins book on exorcism is what really solidified the method for me.

He wrote the entire book and you could tell in the manner of authorship it was mainly coming from firsthand translation from interviews he had done, then he injected a single bit about someone who had gotten possessed by going off into the woods in canada and trying to 'talk directly to God' but, of course, that ended up being the demon.

 

I read the chapter several times because it had struck me as 'off' before I eventually had that 'ah-ha!" moment. I've since seem the same pattern in other catholic books.
