Well, you are always subject to the interpretation of the hearer or reader, I mean, this depends on how you think symbols work.

 

Aristotle's view is that spoken sounds are symbols of mental experience, and written marks are symbols of spoken sounds.

Well, English puts verbs in one place, latin another.

 

For example, in English you would say

 

Ciceronam nomen est.

 

In English,

 

Cicero is my name.

 

So, the verb goes in a different place depending on the language. But in latin you could say

 

Ciceronam est nomen, but it is not really how it is done, because in Latin nouns are declined so you figure out what case they are in, where in English you mostly figure out case by position. And this is sort of a bad example, because

and

 

Cicero is my name

 

Both mean the same thing.

Any name on a Driver License, Birth Certificate or Passport is going to come from a state-issued document, e.g. a Birth Certificate. The State gets to decide on your name on those documents.

What do you mean verify who you are? A name is a reference, it is not who you are, you are your body and possibly your mind, so a name simply refers to a body, unless you are an Aristtotelean, then you have "the body of Socrates" for example, with Socrates being a primary substance attached to everything about Socrates.

Kinda pissed me off cuz when I first got my LLC they were saying on the YT meetings that we are never alone with what we're doing out here with the GRAMMAR, that there would be help. And I guess there is but you have to have some significant coin to participate by joining or driving to Edmonton Alberta for the weekly meetingโ€ฆ ffs. So it's been un-comfy in that regard but it's also been time to think & expand the thinking. Still working on that tbh.
