Jesse is a useful influencer, but takes things to extremes (intentionally?) sometimes. There are many on the right, left, and center that would want a sort of neutral, cooperative (not meaningless) culture that permits all things "Bill of Rights"-y. This isn't an idea that is right/left dominant. This is a Republic-centered concept of societal cooperation through rigorous debate. If you call that "neutral" or "meaningless", perhaps your intended targets aren't those on the right or the communists, but those ignorant of the tenants of the US Constitution, itself, regardless of affiliation. Culture will have a direction, yes, and it will constantly be in a state of flux as long as people have these things called "ideas". Let's at least aspire to make that culture as good as the one the Founding Fathers envisioned instead of one where ideological lopsidedness is the order of the day. God forbid people start calling their fellow citizens "traitors" for being Libertarian. That's just fucking stupid.
