Saudi royal and Twitter shareowner against Musk bid
prominent Saudi Arabian billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, whose firm Kingdom Holding Company owns a 5.2% stake in Twitter Inc., opposed on Thursday a bid by Elon Musk to take the company private.
In a tweet, the prince claimed that Musk's offer doesn't match the social media giant's "intrinsic value."
"Being one of the largest and long-term shareholders of Twitter, Kingdom Holding Company and I reject this offer," he wrote.
