Anons, I was a bad person. I did bad things. My actions got me into a place with no good options and all bad circumstances. I could not see a path forward. It was only then that I gave God a chance and said if He was real I would do what He wanted. A few weeks later as I was nearing sleep He blew up inside my body - I exploded inwardly with life and power and love, all one thing. It was His Spirit, His presence, His power, His love, His life. It was IN ME!!! I had nothing to do with this, I could only receive. I basked in it as my soul was empty and starving. It lasted a while. Then it left and I knew my life's purpose was to bear witness to the reality of the Living God and His Son. This is my witness.
That was many years ago. He has been faithful to me every moment since, even when I am not faithful to Him.
God loves us. He longs to be with His created children.
Stop fighting Him.
