It's an exhibit of the perfect response to how leaders of countries disproportionately represent their constituents. It wasn't a knock against humanity, per se. Not going to try to defend the statement, but I think what he was trying to say "We shouldn't be trying to get people to live until they are 150 years old because people generally get set in their ways and dismiss everything that doesn't perfectly align with their own preconceived notions and assumptions". I can tell you based on this anon's experience, that's true; anons excepting, of course. All people are capable of "change". Most don't, some can, and do, change.
Term limits are needed, though. Not age limits. We've had some old fuckers come in for the win, so I would advocate for the geniocratic geriatric any day.
