Just about all code repositories (git, clearcase, bitbucket, etc) all have permissions that prevent those sorts of things by design. With Git, which is most likely what they are using, a developer pulls down a copy, makes mods, then submits and pushes changes where code owners have the right to merge or not.
I am a solo developer that has been blacklisted since 911, so take what I say as someone who was purposely excluded from growing with tech by these same isolationists libtards who mainly steal intellectual property.
I really have no need for group repositories like git as a result so what I say may not be 100% accurate but that is the gist as far as I know. The truth is, is that I could build those systems by myself if I had just a regular job. These DS people are true usurpers and obstructionists that have made their art into a science.
