Liberty County man fatally shoots neighbor over ongoing argument over loose dog, deputies say
>Womack walked into the street to talk to Elliott but Elliott kicked Womack in the leg and then pulled out a gun from his waist and shot Womack in the stomach….Then, according to a witness, while Womack’s wife and step-daughter were screaming and trying to call for help, Elliott put the handgun in his truck and continued with his yard work as if nothing had ever happened. (He was still doing yard work when deputies arrived).

Suspect charged with murder in Hardin County shooting
Details pending in news story; family reporting those who were shot did not know the shooter. They were in public place with their kids and had asked shooter to stop hitting his wife in front of their kids. Guy walked to truck, pulled out a pistol and commenced to firing. Killed one; critically wounded the other. Both men shot in front of their kids.
