Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the death of Lisa Lopes. Lisa was an AIDS activist who followed a herbal guru named Dr. Sebi who claimed to be able to cure aids with herbal remedies.

Dr. Sebi real name is Alfredo Darrington Bowman.

Some of his followers question the circumstances of his arrest and death. They claim that there was a conspiracy to silence him because his teachings differed from the medical establishment and threatened the pharmaceutical industry.

In 2018, African-American rapper Nipsey Hussle stated he was planning on creating a documentary about Bowman's successful defenses at his criminal trials. Hussle was later murdered in 2019 by a known acquaintance.[28] Law enforcement have found no link between Hussle's death and Bowman.[29]

They claim she was riding in the same van she died in a couple of weeks before her death when her assistant who was driving hit and killed a child. The accident wasn't reported and the claimed she paid of the parents of the child who died.
