I made about $20,000 last year on Etsy. Because I sold that much they started forcing me to use an advertising service I didn't need and they raised the seller prices so much that at times they took as much as %28 of my profit. That is usery and it's against the law for a reason. Anywho….look where there office is located. DUMBO right between two bridges. 55 Washinton Street, Brooklyn, NY

 

I just participated in the Etsy Seller strike that happened right before Easter.

Career

In November 1998, Silverman quit his job at ADAC Laboratories[4] to work full time on building what would become Evite.[3][5] Evite was acquired by Barry Diller's IAC/InterActiveCorp 2001. In 2006, Silverman became CEO of Shopping.com, a comparison-shopping engine owned by eBay.[6] In February 2008, he was named CEO of Skype[7]

 

Silverman joined the board of Etsy in November, 2016. After an activist investor took a stake in the company and called for it sale, Etsy's board ousted longtime CEO Chad Dickerson and installed Silverman as chief executive officer.
