Megan Fox reveals she drinks Machine Gun Kelly’s blood as a regular ‘ritual’

The US actress previously claimed she drinks her fiance Machine Gun Kelly’s blood, and now she’s gone into further excruciating detail.

Jack Hardwick and The Sun - April 27, 2022

Megan Fox stunned fans when she claimed during her engagement announcement earlier this year that she and Machine Gun Kelly “drank each other’s blood” after the romantic moment.

And it seems the US actress, 35, wasn’t joking.

Explaining the bizarre ritual wasn’t a one-off, Fox told Glamour UK: “When I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason and it is controlled, where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’”

She added of her fiance, 32, who she met on a film set in 2019: “He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic.”

But Fox insisted she is a health nut, so any of her blood will be relatively toxin-free, The Sun reports.

“I’m always completely sober. I don’t even drink a glass of wine. I don’t ever smoke,” she told the magazine.

“I don’t drink coffee. I’m super strict with my diet and I never deviate.”

The mother-of-three said that while travelling in Costa Rica she was told in medicine, alcohol can extract a plant’s essence.

“I thought, ‘That is exactly how alcohol makes me feel. As though it is extracting my essence.’

“Which is why I have avoided it for so long.”

In January, Machine Gun Kelly proposed to Fox with a ring made of thorns.

He later explained: “If she tries to take it off, it hurts. Love is pain!”

Fox shared a video of the proposal – shot from several different angles – along with the caption: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree, we asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

“Somehow a year-and-a-half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”

She finished off the caption with: “And then we drank each other’s blood.”

Megan Fox On Being A Sex Symbol, Parenting & Blood Drinking Rituals With Machine Gun Kelly

Glamour Magazine UK

Apr 27, 2022

Opening up in her most candid and revealing interview in years, Megan Fox speaks to GLAMOUR’s Emily Maddick about sexism, being a sex symbol, her psychological breakdown, pressures of parenting, her feminist revival and rejection – and passionate blood-drinking rituals with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly…

Megan Fox is having a moment. This much we all know. Every red carpet she steps on to, every Kardashian she steps out with and every outfit she wears is analysed idolised or meme-ified generating headlines on a near daily basis. Despite not having an account herself, on TikTok she’s a goddess, celebrated for her wit, style and unapologetic honesty. And then, of course, there’s her equally unapologetic, PDA-packing, internet-breaking romance and exceedingly extra engagement – complete with claims of mutual blood drinking – with rapper and actor Machine Gun Kelly.

But Megan has not always been as celebrated, appreciated or – crucially – understood.

Her rise to fame in the early Noughties saw her emerge as an almost cartoon-like sex symbol whose pin-up, all-American good looks garnered her a reputation for some roles that seemed solely to serve the male gaze. And the public and the media treated her accordingly. I, too, was guilty of underestimating Megan Fox in the past, buying in to the sex-symbol narrative and not taking her seriously enough. But no longer.

Their need for symbolism will be their downfall.
