My cousin's daughter was struggling to learn her times table and her mom was getting frustrated.
So once a week she would come by me and we would work on it together. I had some math games that we would play.
We had fun and she learned her facts.

My Grandpa immigrated to the US from the Netherlands in the early 1900s, when he was 20 years old. He learned English. He worked as a machinist at Chicago Bridge & Iron. No one ever printed anything out in Dutch for him, to mollycoddle him.
