IRL truck parts story.
Needed a couple front axle drive shafts (4wd). Only one in entire after market parts system (all third party network). Needed to source second one from car dealer (at twice the price). They had 10. Sounds like dealerships are getting priority. They have been getting shorted on new cars so perhaps they are propping them up via parts/service.
