the LEGAL precedents are numerous and unanimous… life begins at birth. born dec 31st, tax deduction for the entire previous year. conceived on march 31st but not born until jan 1st, NOT a tax deduction for the previous year. on welfare, a child counts as a dependent from the date of BIRTH, not the date of conception. etc etc etc.
likewise, Christians celebrate the anniversary of the BIRTH of Christ, NOT of his conception.
