Antifa Extremists Attack GOP Candidate Rally in Portland

 

A rally for an Oregon gubernatorial candidate was violently interrupted by Antifa extremists in Portland this past Saturday. Stan Pulliam, a GOP candidate running for governor, was holding a rally in Portland which emphasized a pro-law enforcement message when extremists showed up to disrupt the peaceful assembly. Over the past several years, Portland has become a haven for the extremist group. During the summer of 2020, Antifa extremists were largely responsible for most of the property damage done in the city, as well as many injuries and several deaths.

 

At this weekend’s rally, scores of black-clad extremists swarmed the rally and began throwing smoke bombs. They then smashed car windows and dented vehicles with blunt objects while demanding rally goers leave the park.

 

According to Pulliam, the mayor of the town of Sandy, the rally had been going as planned for less than 15 minutes until black-clad extremists showed up and began being disruptive. β€œOf course, less than 15 minutes in, we’re greeted by Antifa, showing up with firecrackers that they’re throwing at us, paint, feces all over our campaign [signs], our campaign bus completely destroyed…,” Pulliam told Fox News.

 

According to the candidate, Portland’s understaffed police department was slow to arrive and restore order. β€œWe called the police, we called 911,” he said. β€œIn fact, at the Justice of Peace Center, we were just outside of their headquarters, sat on hold for over 20 minutes. No police officers ever arrive until the very end, just to take our statement,” Pulliam added.

 

In what has long been a reliably liberal state, some polls show that the gubernatorial race could be very competitive in Oregon. According to a Morning Consult poll, Kate Brown is America’s least popular governor. Brown currently holds an approval rating of 41% and a disapproval rating of 54%.

 

Many Oregon residents have cited crime and homelessness as Brown’s weakest areas. A poll conducted by Oregon Public Broadcasting indicated that these two issues are front and center, along with a general dissatisfaction with β€œgovernment and leadership”.

 

Antifa’s presence continues to remind voters in Oregon that crime is still a major issue in the state, and especially in Portland. Portland’s leftist mayor and prosecutors have seemingly done little to keep their city safe from the extremist group. Brown has also continuously covered for the violent far-left group. During the height of the rioting in 2020, Brown blamed β€œarmed white supremacists” for the violence and property damage. She called out right-wing group Patriot Prayer but would not call out Antifa.

63 Potential Leakers, Calls Grow to β€˜Figure out Who Is Responsible’ for SCOTUS Leak

 

Supreme Court justices should immediately issue their official opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson, following the bombshell leak of a draft opinion in the case that would overturn Roe v. Wade, according to a key figure in recent major congressional judicial battles.

 

The leaked draft indicates five justices agreed, at least as of the February date of the draft, in deciding Dobbs v. Jackson to undo the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. Doing so would return the power to decide abortion policy to state governments. The result would be that abortions become generally available in some states and much less available, or perhaps not at all, in other states.

 

β€œOver the past several years, we have watched the radical Left become increasingly brazen in their attempts to delegitimize and bully our nation’s highest court. This unprecedented leak is a stunning, shameful, and likely illegal attempt to obstruct the Court’s deliberations on a pending case, and it puts the lives of the Justices in danger,” Article III Project (A3P) Founder and Director Mike Davis said.

 

β€œTo prevent any further harm, the Court must issue its decision immediately, and an investigation must be launched to determine who is responsible,” Davis added in a statement issued shortly after Politico published the draft opinion.

 

Davis was Chief Counsel for Nominations for then-Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and led the Republican staff during the Senate confirmation battles for Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a record number of U.S. Circuit Court judges nominated by former President Donald Trump.

 

Davis founded A3P as a non-profit advocate for β€œconstitutionalist judges and the rule of law.”

 

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts should not hesitate to ask the FBI to investigate the leak and to help in an overall assessment of the third branch’s internal security management capabilities, Heritage Foundation Senior Legal Fellow Hans von Spakovsky told The Epoch Times.

 

β€œThe Chief Justice should immediately ask the FBI to investigate this shocking breach of the confidentiality of the work done by the Court. It could not function without that confidentiality, any more than a law firm could function if it had law clerks who leaked the firm’s internal communications, work product, and privileged materials,” von Spakovsky said.

 

Asked if the High Court should establish a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), a β€œsafe room” with limited and supervised access for the law clerks who do much of the research and opinion drafting for the nine justices, the Heritage constitutional law expert said, β€œRoberts, as part of his investigation to find out who did this, needs to get recommendations from the Marshal of the Court and the FBI on anything that can be done to strengthen the security protocols of the court. I don’t know if they need to go to a SCIF-like safe room, but they clearly need recommendations from their security people on what can be done to prevent this.”

NASA to launch naked pictures of humans to space in hope of β€˜attracting aliens’

NASA scientists plan to launch pictures of naked humans into space in the hope of luring aliens to us.

 

The depictions will also include an invitation to respond should an intelligent alien race find the space nudes.

 

Fortunately, the hypothetical aliens shouldn’t be too shocked by the unsolicited nudes.

 

The pictures aren’t graphic photographs of naked humans but a drawing of a naked man and a woman next to a depiction of DNA.

 

The man and woman are waving in an attempt to look more inviting.

 

NASA scientists revealed the image in a study that’s part of a project called the β€œBeacon in the Galaxy” (BITG).

 

The main aim of the BITG project is to send a message to any alien civilizations that could be out there.

 

Scientists think the pixelated illustration of a naked man and woman waving hello could help us finally make contact with extraterrestrials.

 

Along with the nude figures and a DNA depiction, the scientists have also tried to depict gravity.

 

This all adds up to become an updated binary-coded message that can be sent into space.

 

Scientists think a binary-coded message is most likely to be understood by aliens.

 

The scientists explain in their study: β€œThough the concept of mathematics in human terms is potentially unrecognizable to extra-terrestrial intelligence, binary is likely universal across all intelligence.

 

β€œBinary is the simplest form of mathematics as it involves only two opposing states: zero and one, yes or no, black or white, mass or empty space.”

 

They added: β€œThe proposed message includes basic mathematical and physical concepts to establish a universal means of communication followed by information on the biochemical composition of life on Earth, the Solar System’s time-stamped position in the Milky Way relative to known globular clusters, as well as digitized depictions of the Solar System, and Earth’s surface.”

 

The concept of sending depictions of naked humans to space isn’t new.

 

The Pioneer plaques sent to space on the 1972 Pioneer 10 and 1973 Pioneer 11 missions, also featured drawings of naked humans.

Among the superstitious, Kuman Thong, or baby amulets, remain as popular as ever, and, although illegal, actual baby body parts are sometimes used to make them.

 

Celebrities Jakkaphan Kansompot and Jakkapong Kansompot are proud of their massive collection of β€œKuman Thong”, or baby amulets. In the prayer room at their home in Bangkok, several hundred Kuman Thong in different shapes, colours and sizes are displayed on shelves. On the other side of the room, a plate containing bottles of water and puddings are placed in front of another collection of larger Kuman Thong, which are arranged in a small shrine.

β€œThey are like our family, brothers and children,” Jakkaphan, or Jack, told Spectrum.

 

β€œCall me superstitious, but this is part of the traditional belief of Thais,” Jakkapong added.

Jakkaphan and Jakkapong, 41, once known as Jack and Jill in their days as famous singing twins, look every bit the modern professionals. Behind the slicked-back hair and designer jeans, they also believe the Kuman Thong have provided them with protection and support.

 

It started in 1997 when their business was hard hit by the economic crisis. Then teenage boys, the pair did not know what to turn to. Their mother gave them a Kuman Thong which once belonged to their grandfather.

 

β€œWe were looking for something to hold on to. We prayed for the Kuman Thong’s support to help us succeed. And it worked,”

Jakkapong said. Today, they have 1,689 Kuman Thong in their collection.

 

Jakkaphan and Jakkapong are among many Thais who believe that possessing lucky charms will help bring them good fortune, security and protection. For instance, a β€œKhun Phaen” amulet is believed to make the bearer more charming. People wear β€œJaturakham Ramtap” because they believe it protects them from danger.

 

Many shops have a β€œNang Kwak”, a small woman statue beckoning visitors, because they believe it will increase the number of customers.

 

The popularity of Kuman Thong can be traced to the Ayutthaya period, and myths and superstitions have followed them throughout the centuries. The most controversial is the belief they were made from the body parts of dead babies.

 

Kuman Thong were famously mentioned in The Tale of Khun Chang Khun Phaen folklore, set in the late 1500s. In the story, Khun Phaen made an amulet out of his child’s foetus by performing a black magic ritual. The unborn child then became a ghost called Kuman Thong, or β€œgolden boy”. The folklore said Khun Phaen used the Kuman Thong for his protection on the battlefield.

 

These days, it is believed the Kuman Thong will bring good fortune.

 

Kuman Thong are controversial because of the materials used in the amulets’ production. Two years ago, Thai police arrested a Briton of Taiwanese descent for illegally procuring six fetuses. It is believed that the fetuses, found stuffed inside a suitcase, were meant to produce Kuman Thong.

 

Pol Col Wiwat Kamchamnan, who oversaw the case, told Spectrum that some people smuggle body parts for their collection and to produce talismans or amulets, especially Kuman Thong. They often steal body parts from hospitals.

 

In other cases, undertakers sold anonymous fetuses or body parts to the black market.

 

Despite the threat of penalties of up to one-year imprisonment and a 2,000-baht fine, people continue to steal body parts for the black market. β€œThey believe that a talisman with body parts will bring them fortune,” Pol Col Wiwat said.

 

Asked where thieves can find body parts of the infants, Pol Col Wiwat said, β€œThere are news incidents about abandoned infants and fetuses from unready mothers almost every day. Some of these may find their way to the procurer.

 

β€œI want to tell the hospitals and the morgues to take good care of the bodies in their care to prevent such incidents from happening again.”

Very true. I sent my 18yo daughter off to military academy, and she had a total tailspin. Thought she was well adjusted and prepared for life, but still lives with her mother years later. Did my level best to raise a capable, spirited young woman who was ready for life, and still not sure how it went wrong. When I was 18 I was dying to leave town. Maybe girls are different, or more likely, this generation.

 

I recently met a doctor who is raising 5 teenage sons, and he won't let them own a cell phone until they turn 18. Makes them work, makes them learn, gives them physical training, etc. Seems like good advice.

Good questions anon. I can only point you to Christ and his suffering once for all.

 

When wondering why God would allow bad things to happen to good people, it’s also good to consider these four things about the bad things that happen:

 

1) Bad things may happen to good people in this world, but this world is not the end. Christians have an eternal perspective: β€œWe do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:16–18). We will have a reward some day, and it will be glorious.

 

2) Bad things happen to good people, but God uses those bad things for an ultimate, lasting good. β€œWe know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). When Joseph, innocent of wrongdoing, finally came through his horrific sufferings, he was able to see God’s good plan in it all (see Genesis 50:19–21).

 

3) Bad things happen to good people, but those bad things equip believers for deeper ministry. β€œPraise be to . . . the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:3–5). Those with battle scars can better help those going through the battles.

 

4) Bad things happen to good people, and the worst things happened to the best Person. Jesus was the only truly Righteous One, yet He suffered more than we can imagine. We follow in His footsteps: β€œIf you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. β€˜He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.’ When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly” (1 Peter 2:20–23). Jesus is no stranger to our pain.

 

Romans 5:8 declares, β€œBut God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Despite the sinful nature of the people of this world, God still loves us. Jesus loved us enough to die to take the penalty for our sins (Romans 6:23). If we receive Jesus Christ as Savior (John 3:16; Romans 10:9), we will be forgiven and promised an eternal home in heaven (Romans 8:1).

 

God allows things to happen for a reason. Whether or not we understand His reasons, we must remember that God is good, just, loving, and merciful (Psalm 135:3). Often, bad things happen to us that we simply cannot understand. Instead of doubting God’s goodness, our reaction should be to trust Him. β€œTrust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5–6). We walk by faith, not by sight.

This is a struggle for the survival of our nation, and this will be our last chance to save it.

 

This election will determine whether we are a free nation, or whether we have only the illusion of democracy but are in fact controlled by a small handful of global special interest, rigging the system, and our system is rigged. This is reality. You know it. They know it. I know it, and pretty much the whole world knows it.

 

The Clinton machine is at the center of this power structure. We’ve seen this first hand in the Wikileaks documents, in which Hillary Clinton meets in secret with international banks, to plot the destruction of US sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers, her special interest friends, and her donors.

Honestly, she should be locked up.

 

The most powerful weapon deployed by the Clintons is the corporate media, the press. Lets be clear on one thing, the corporate media in our country is no longer involved in journalism, they are a political special interest no different than any lobbyist or other financial entity with a total political agenda, and the agenda is not for you, it’s for themselves.

 

Anyone who challenges their control is deemed a sexist, a racist, a xenophobe. They will lie, lie, lie, and then again, they will do worse than that. They will do whatever is necessary. The Clinton's are criminals, remember that. This is well documented, and the establishment that protects them has engaged in a massive cover-up of widespread criminal activity at the State Department and the Clinton Foundation in order to keep the Clinton's in power.

 

They knew they would throw every lie they could at me, at my family, at my loved ones. They knew they would stop at nothing to try to stop me. Nevertheless, I take all of these slings and arrows gladly for you. I take them for our movement, so that we can have our country back. I knew this day would arrive, it was only a question of when . . . and I knew the American people would rise above it and vote for the future they deserve.

 

The only thing that can stop this corrupt machine, is YOU. The only force strong enough to save our country is US. The only people brave enough to vote out this corrupt establishment is YOU the American people.

 

Our great civilization has come upon a moment of reckoning. I didn't need to do this folks, believe me. I built a great company, and I had a wonderful life. I could have enjoyed the fruits and benefits of years of successful business deals and businesses for myself and my family, instead of going through this absolute horror show of lies, deceptions, malicious attacks.
