Not to nit pick, but the Bible didn't use the qualifier 'adult' man and woman. It is common knowledge that females have been reproducing from breeding age since the world began. It is only modern sensibilities that frames the limit of 18 and correlates 'adult' behavior with it. Even in the 20th century, it was quite common for young girls to marry at 14-16 and already have several kids by the time they were 20.

This whole topic gets to be ridiculous, especially with modern 'religious' types who live in a bubble and have no experience in the rest of the world. Though I will affirm that sex should be reserved for a married or monogamous man and woman.

Very true. I sent my 18yo daughter off to military academy, and she had a total tailspin. Thought she was well adjusted and prepared for life, but still lives with her mother years later. Did my level best to raise a capable, spirited young woman who was ready for life, and still not sure how it went wrong. When I was 18 I was dying to leave town. Maybe girls are different, or more likely, this generation.

I recently met a doctor who is raising 5 teenage sons, and he won't let them own a cell phone until they turn 18. Makes them work, makes them learn, gives them physical training, etc. Seems like good advice.

Yep, in her case it was the mental stress of it she couldn't take. There is something 'clingy' about this generation too though, which was different in my GenXeration.
