Meanwhile high school teachers were weaponized to scream at 12th graders that they would be making French fries if they don't go to college and also get into the best possible school. Students come home crying to their parents that they need to go to college. Parents co-sign for huge student loans. The system feeds itself.
Now those students are being told they are dumbfucks for borrowing if they can't pay it back. Boomers are like, "I worked my way through school, why can't you…"
