King Louis XIV had a vision for "New France" in the 1600s.

It is now known as Canada.

770 women, who were called "King's Daughters", were sent by the King, and they came to New France with their culture and tenacity to help conquer a frontier.

In only 20 years they helped transform a beautiful rugged country into a wonderful place to live and raise children.

Mostly all French Canadians come from the "King's Daughters".
