God separated the waters at the beginning.
The waters where the Harlot sits are the ones on earth,
not the ones of Heaven.
So your citation is not the same thing as that in Ez. 43:2.
In fact,
in Ez., it is comparing the sound of His Voice,
as being mighty.
In other words,
it was loud.
Jesus Christ is the one who crushed the head of the Serpent,
by dying on the cross for the sins of His people.
He was the only Lamb of God which His Father gave,
the only one without sin.
So He didn't need any help from Mary.
Do they have 2A?
But that pointing to the Harlot is not the same as His Voice of which Ez. 43:2 speaks.
His Voice didn't sound as the Harlot.
Go back and read it again.
When you are done,
read it again.
Rinse,
repeat.
Maybe he sincerely means "Have fun"โฆโฆโฆ.
red pilling everybody.
And he does seem to be having fun.
Didn't say that.
But you keep equating "His Voice being as the rushing of mighty waters" with it.
The verse pertaining to the Harlot is not equal to the one in Ez. 43:2.
You're bringing up issues which have nothing to do with your falsely equating the two verses.
>Don't worship scripture as the Word, Jesus is the LIVING WORD. We are in Him, and He is in us.
And there's your problem.
That Living Word came to earth,
was made flesh to be the Lamb of God on behalf of those whom His Father had given Him.
That same Word gave His Doctrine to the Prophets and Apostles to write.
When folks such as yourself downplay the Living Words which are written,
it is to build their own doctrine and way of salvation.
It's ironic you speak of "worshiping scripture",
yet it is Scripture which you are abusing and using for your odd doctrine.
Those in Him have His Doctrine written in their very hearts.
Those handling His written word dishonestly do not.
Even in that,
you are inferring everyone has Christ in them.
That is dead wrong.
God isn't going to be casting anyone with Christ in them into the Lake of Fire.
Those having not Christ shall be cast there.
And again, the two verses you keep connecting don't equate with one another.
kek
The Living Word is still the Living Word when it was written.
His written Doctrine existed before time began.
Those to whom He revealed it,
were commanded to write it.
It is no less true,
no less eternal written than it ever was before it was written.
Even now,
you keep denigrating that which is written while even quoting it,
and you fail to see the irony.
The fact you are quoting that Living Word which is written,
testifies against your claim.
On what then is your basis of truth if not that which is written?
Any version which does not deny the Gospel is a good version.
A good habit to take up is to read several different versions.
The ones not denying the Gospel may have minor differences,
but nothing that justifying casting the whole of it away.
You have made your position clear.
No amount of using imagery for your cause will hide your error.
The Serpent is crushed only by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This is what it means to be "shod with the Gospel".
Christ's Doctrine only crushes the Serpent's power over its lies.
The Gnostic writings are rejected because they deny the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Let me add this.
Russel-Jay Gould's clever quip effectively implies:
1) That God didn't have the power to preserve His Son's Doctrine,
the Son who is God the Word.
2) This would lead to the conclusion that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is incomplete,
and the Faith of it therefore is rendered powerless to provide the Way of Salvation, so no one is saved.
3) This logic then slyly leads people to find their own way of "salvation".
Jesus Himself answered that by stating He was sending the Holy Ghost in His place so that He would bring to remembrance everything He had taught his disciples.
His Apostles wrote these things,
and the Holy Ghost opens the eyes and ears of one's soul to see and to hear what they are saying.
His parables go along with the Law He gave Moses.
One in Christ being led by the Holy Ghost hungers for the truth of those parables,
and searching throughout His Scriptures provide those answers.
For instance,
the Revelation speaks about the tails of the locusts.
Lo and behold,
the interpretation is provided in Isaiah 9:
14 Therefore the Lord will cut off head and tail from Israel,
Palm branch and bulrush in one day.
15 The elder and honorable, he is the head;
The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.
One will also find much about "locusts", "wormwood", etc.
Ah! I see.
However, reading, for instance, the Douay-Rheims,
despite their attempt at hiding the truth and their control,
continues to have the Gospel of Jesus intact.
They could not stomp out His Word,
try as they might.
