Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg Accuses Lina Hidalgo of Withholding Evidence in Probe Into $11 Million Vaccine Outreach Contract

Texas – Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg accused Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo of withholding evidence in the investigation into a canceled $11 million vaccine outreach contract.

Kim Ogg demanded Hidalgo provide the evidence under oath to Texas Rangers immediately.

Ogg, a Democrat, also blasted Lina Hidalgo for making “nearly daily public misstatements” about the investigation into the $11 million ‘vaccine outreach contract’ awarded to a one-person firm with no experience in the field.

Hidalgo’s top three staffers were indicted last month after prosecutors expanded their investigation.

Lina Hidalgo knows she’s going to be indicted next which is why she’s lashing out at the District Attorney and trying to smear her investigation as a ‘political vendetta.’

“I expect this political exercise to continue through Election Day. [Kim Ogg] will have me indicted. Or name a ‘special prosecutor’- an illusion of independence since those are still beholden to the DA. She did that before in a political prosecution that went nowhere. I’m not deterred.”

Hidalgo also trashed the DA in a press conference.

Kim Ogg responded to Lina Hidalgo’s smear campaign and warned her to keep her mouth shut about the ongoing investigation.

On Thursday, Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg blasted Hidalgo in a written statement over what she calls “nearly daily public misstatements” made by the county judge. Ogg said she felt compelled to comment about Hidalgo’s recent remarks.

“Failing to do so allows a top county official, in her official capacity, to continue to improperly influence those people of Harris County who will serve on the jury in this case,” Ogg said. “This harms everyone, including the accused, and must stop.”

Ogg, a Democrat in her second term as district attorney, also accused Hidalgo of publicly revealing information not previously known by authorities.

“Judge Hidalgo has referred to case evidence, to information (that) the investigators and prosecutors don’t have,” Ogg said. “She has an ethical duty and responsibility to provide any evidence under oath to the Texas Rangers and she should do so immediately.”

$65 Billion in Western 'Aid for Ukraine' Is Neither Aid Nor Is it for Ukraine

In recent weeks, much has been said about the political West’s (primarily US) “aid” to the embattled Kiev regime. The US Congress has so far approved or is in the process of approving at least $54 billion to Ukraine. In addition, various reports put the amount of EU “aid” at up to €10 billion thus far, although the actual number is most likely orders of magnitude greater. When put together, this pushes the publicly acknowledged figure to a staggering $65 billion, which is equivalent to Russia’s annual military spending in nominal USD exchange rates.

The number seems rather impressive and may give an outlook that Ukraine will be able to defeat Russian forces. However, the situation on the ground says otherwise. With the political West’s postindustrial economy, their ability to mass-produce affordable and easily replaceable military hardware has increasingly been called into question. Thus, most of the “aid” from the US/EU is essentially a half measure. Throwing money at a problem is highly unlikely to resolve it, as actual situations require genuine, not monetary action.

The amount of hardware Ukraine lost so far is difficult to determine, as both sides provide diametrically opposing data, while independent confirmation from the ground is virtually impossible due to ongoing military operations. However, war footage taken by civilians, alternative media embedded with frontline troops, and soldiers themselves, clearly shows that Ukraine’s losses in manpower and equipment have been massive.

To replace lost hardware, the Kiev regime will require enormous resources. However, this will be quite challenging, as the country’s Military-Industrial Complex has been virtually annihilated by Russia’s long-range strikes. Thus, the regime will need to acquire additional military hardware elsewhere. The political West is the go-to address for this purpose, as Ukraine has been getting NATO weapons for years. Still, this hardware has had a limited impact on the battlefield. To change that, NATO powers decided to ramp up the so-called “lethal aid”.

However, in reality, the prospect of Ukraine getting the promised “aid” is rather grim. An obvious question arises, what will happen to nearly $65 billion? The first go-to address for such a question should be the US Congress. With the lawmaking body trying to fast track the deal, some US congressmen have voiced concerns that corrupt officials would be able to steal the “aid”, as was the case for decades during numerous US invasions across the globe. However, corruption and embezzlement, which geopolitical expert Paul Antonopoulos recently covered in a superb analysis, is the lesser problem in this situation.

Newly Discovered Virus May Wipe Out Global Bee Population, Scientists Warn

The new virus variant is spread by varroa mites or “varroa destructors”, a devastating pest which feeds on the hemolymph (blood) of the Western honey bee population. The mites invade honeybee hives and can eat honey bee pupa as well as spread viruses.

A newly discovered variant of the Deformed Wing Virus (DWV) is threatening to wipe out the global bee population.

The bee population is already vulnerable due to human-inflicted causes including pesticides, drought, habitat destruction prompted by construction sites, air pollution and global warming. A common bee pest, the varroa mite, now poses an additional threat to the bee’s population.

“The Deformed Wing Virus is arguably the biggest threat to honey bees right now. Our lab research has shown that the new, highly contagious variant is killing bees faster,” says Dr. Robert Paxton who teaches at the Martin Luther University Halle Wittenberg (MLU).

DWV is responsible for causing severe damage to a bee’s wing before eventually killing them. The new variant was discovered by a scientist collective across the globe who have been studying DWV for two decades. The new variant is being spread by varroa mites, a common honey bee pest.

According to researchers at MLU who used 3,000 different sets of data to track down the new variant's location, the new variant has already spread throughout Europe and has already reached every other continent with the exception of Australia.

“Our analysis confirms that the new variant is already the dominating force in Europe. We fear that it’s just a matter of time before it will have forced its way all over the world,” warns Dr. Paxton.

Scientists warn beekeepers that basic, general hygiene measures are a key preventive measure against the destructive pests.

"Basic, general hygiene measures for the hive are paramount for beekeepers when it comes to protecting their colonies from the varroa mite," says Dr. Paxton.

They add that discovering the mites in their early stages of infestation will also help save the hive they are tending.

"Bees are the most important creature for mankind and the environment," adds Dr. Paxton

Indeed, bees are a vital part of the planet— responsible for 80% of all pollination globally— they are the farmers who help support and grow fruits, nuts, and vegetables within 70/100 top human food crops that are responsible for 90% of the world’s nutrition.

MAGA Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers is under fire from Democrats and RINOs for a benign cryptic telegram message about the Buffalo shooting and the FBI’s incompetence in preventing the incident.

The radical leftists in the Arizona Senate have even tried to EXPEL Rogers from the Senate in another political witchhunt against a Trump-endorsed candidate.

The fake news and the left have already singled out and blamed “Ultra-Maga” conservatives for this horrific attack. A recent article by Rolling Stone claims this leftist psychopath, who wrote a manifesto before killing ten people, is a “mainstream Republican.”

The Gateway Pundit previously reported on some of the disgusting accusations against Fox News host Tucker Carlson for his past political commentary, where he truly denounces violence.

Where was the FBI when we needed them? Why weren’t they investigating the shooter’s previous threats of violent attack against his school? They didn’t stop him from buying a weapon afterward. Were they taking a summer vacation already?

They were probably too busy investigating everyday law-abiding conservatives or parents who attended school board meetings.

Last Monday, Senator Rogers released a statement calling out the Democrats for their abuse of power and failed attempt to expel her.

Rogers: In a 24 to 3 vote today, the Arizona State Senate passed a motion to launch an ethics investigation regarding a comment I made on social media. That motion only came after Senate Democrat Leadership revealed minutes before floor proceedings were to begin, that they were going to vote to expel me from office. Their motion to expel would have come without any sort of investigation or due process.

Sadly, my comment was taken completely out of context and became a false narrative that’s now the focal point of a firestorm created by certain race-obsessed members of the media. Unfortunately, our Democrat members of the Senate are now turning this issue into a political tool and are continuing to perpetuate this erroneous message in an effort to foment division within our party.

Let me be very clear: I do not condone violent crime or racism. My heart breaks for those who lost their lives as well as for their families in this weekend’s shooting in Buffalo, New York. I pray justice is brought to the perpetrator. The person responsible for this heinous crime should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I denounce this tragic act as well as any and all other violent crimes that are spreading into communities across our country.

I’m grateful to our Republican Leadership Team for fighting to give me due process in this matter, and I am certain that once the facts have been analyzed, I will be vindicated.
