That's the thing. Google was never a private company. It was a DARPA project just like all the others. So since it's a gov't program masquerading as a private one, when it's ruled to be a utility, it'll finally be operating under the confines of gov't regulation like it always should have. Makes me wonder if it's true origins are going to be revealed in further court proceedings, or if that info will remain "conspiratard" territory.
Forcing all content to be 100% verified, and putting actual means to prevent underage users from accessing the site should've been a rule from the very start. But providing verifiable and safe adult entertainment was never their goal from the outset.
