Russian forces together with those from the Donetsk People’s Republic have taken over the Ukrainian town of Liman, Russia’s Defense Ministry has claimed. On Thursday, Alexey Arestovich, a key adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, admitted during a livestream that Ukrainian forces had lost the town.

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov announced on Saturday that Liman had been “fully liberated from Ukrainian nationalists.”

Just before Ukraine admitted the fall of Liman, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba described the situation in Donbass as “extremely bad” for Ukrainian forces during his meeting with Western allies at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, meanwhile, hinted during a video call at the WEF that he could now be willing to sit down for negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

While describing the Russian head of state as delusional, Zelensky noted that he was still the only Russian official worth talking to. According to the Ukrainian president, if Putin “is able to realize” what Zelensky called the reality, “then, probably, we may try and go the diplomatic way, unless it is too late.”

"Bankruptcies Need To Happen": Elon Musk Says Economy Is In For A Necessary "Rude Awakening"

You can say what you want about Elon Musk's business practices at Tesla over the last decade, but he sure seems to be spot on when it comes to his view on macro nowadays.

Musk said on Twitter last week that he thinks it would be "beneficial" for the U.S. to go into recession because "some bankruptcies need to happen", according to a new New York Post report.

We're not sure Musk would have felt the same way just a couple of years ago when Tesla was reportedly on the verge of bankruptcy, but those days have passed.

Discussing the economy on social media, Musk said it was due for a "rude awakening" and that working from home has "made Americans lazy".

He was queried as to whether or not he thought a recession was on its way and told a Twitter user: “Yes, but this is actually a good thing. It has been raining money on fools for too long.”

“Some bankruptcies need to happen. Also, all the Covid stay-at-home stuff has tricked people into thinking that you don’t actually need to work hard,” he continued.

He said he thought a recession would last 12 to 18 months and, channeling his inner Milton Friedman, said: “Companies that are inherently negative cash flow (ie value destroyers) need to die, so that they stop consuming resources.”

You can call it ironic that Musk's company would have likely been wiped out in a recession a couple of years ago, but for now the Tesla founder seems to have far more of a clue about economics than those in government and at the Fed.

At this rate, between defending free speech and understanding how a free market is supposed to work, Musk might as well take the next step and just run for President…

North Korea Urges Public To Treat COVID Symptoms With Tea, Salt Water And Ibuprofen, Has The Lowest COVID Death Rate In The World

While COVID has allegedly killed over a million people in the United States and taken the lives of over 6 million globally, impoverished North Korea has the lowest COVID-19 death rate in the world.

As North Korea tackles its first COVID-19 outbreak, approximately 3.3. million people are reportedly sick with unidentified fevers.

Despite its grossly malnourished population, just 69 people in the country have died from the virus since its government acknowledged a COVID outbreak for the first time during the pandemic on May 12th.

The communist hermit kingdom has limited access to vaccines and PCR tests and intends to keep it that way.

North Korea has repeatedly rejected vaccines from foreign nations throughout the pandemic while its state-run media regularly reports on the rampant adverse reactions to mRNA technology in the United States and the United Kingdom.

COVAX, a World Health Organization-funded program that provides COVID-19 vaccines to poor countries, offered the hermit kingdom nearly two million AstraZeneca vaccines in July, but North Korea rejected the offer citing concerns of detrimental side effects. COVAX then offered North Korea three million doses of AstraZeneca Covid vaccines in September, but the country turned down the shipment.

Last week, the Biden administration also offered to provide North Korea Covid vaccines earlier this week, but North Korea did not respond.

Instead, North Korea’s leaders are treating the virus with traditional medicine, urging the public to treat the virus by consuming willow leaves, ginger, honeysuckle tea and antibiotics including ibuprofen and amoxicillin and gargling with salt water.

A “thousand of tonnes of salt” were reportedly sent to Pyongyang to make an “antiseptic solution.”

The totalitarian country is also rolling out its own COVID-19 vaccine that it calls an “immortal potion of love” from the “Highest Dignity,” leader Kim Jong Un, Radio Free Asia reports. The vaccines are reserved for a limited number of military and construction workers.

Without outside intervention, North Korea has a Covid fatality rate of 0.002 percent.

More people have died after receiving a COVID jab than from any other vaccine in history, while Americans died in hospitals when admitted with COVID as medical practitioners abide by CDC and NIH emergency protocols.

Massive New Mexico Fire Started By U.S. Forest Service

The largest wildfire in New Mexico history—which is still burning—was started by the U.S. Forest Service, federal investigators announced Friday.

The catastrophe began as two fires that merged into one. Both wildfires have now been conclusively traced to planned burns conducted by the Forest Service. Planned or "prescribed" burns are used to reduce the threat of extreme fires by reducing the amount of dry fuel in the forest.

So far, the New Mexico fire has destroyed 330 homes and scorched some 500 square miles. The cost of battling the blaze has surpassed $130 million, and rises another $5 million each day, according to the Associated Press.

The Hermits Peak Fire started on April 6. On April 19, the Calf Canyon Fire sprang from a reignited "burn pile" that had been dormant through three winter snow events. They merged on April 22, and their destructive march across the Land of Enchantment still hasn't ended.

On May 13, New Mexico governor Michelle Lujan Grisham asked the federal government to cover 100% of the response and recovery costs. Following the Forest Service announcement, Grisham said:

“The pain and suffering of New Mexicans caused by the actions of the U.S. Forest Service—an agency that is intended to be a steward of our lands—is unfathomable. This is a first step toward the federal government taking full responsibility for the largest wildfire in state history."

On May 20, Forest Service Chief Randy Moore announced, "I am initiating a pause on prescribed fire operations on National Forest System lands while we conduct a 90-day review of protocols, decision support tools and practices ahead of planned operations this this fall."

In a typical year, the Forest Service conducts 4,500 prescribed burns. "In 99.84% of cases, prescribed fires go as planned," said Moore.

As New Mexicans can attest, the other 0.16% can be a doozie. The 2000 Cerro Grande Fire in New Mexico also started as a prescribed burn. Before it was extinguished, it torched 48,000 acres, destroyed buildings at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, left hundreds of families homeless and caused about $1 billion in damage.

President of Spanish Pharma Company on List of over 2,200 People with Faked Vaccine Papers

The president of the Spanish pharmaceutical company PharmaMar is one of the over 2,200 people listed by Spanish police as having purchased fake coronavirus vaccination documents.

José María Fernández Sousa-Faro, the founder and president of PharmaMar, is one of the over 2,200 people identified as having paid a criminal network to fake their coronavirus vaccination status, following a Spanish police operation known as Operation Jenner.

The 76-year-old was shown in the vaccine registry as having taken at least three doses of Wuhan virus vaccine, investigators stated.

Police say several other high profile names are on the list, including Australian tennis player Álex de Miñaur and Spanish musician Omar Montes.

Police say that the network was able to change vaccine statuses in the Spanish National Vaccination Registry and charged clients cash for the service, the newspaper El Mundo reports.

According to police, the network facilitating the fake vaccination papers was in operation from around September of last year until January of this year. Operation Jenner also led to the dismantling of a broader network that operated across the European Union.

Forgers are said to have charged different amounts of cash for their service depending on how many doses the person wished to be marked as having received. A total of 15 people, including a nurse and a nursing assistant, were arrested earlier this year in connection with the operation.

The nurses are accused of having stolen the personal access codes of other medical professionals and used said access codes to commit fraudulent activities.

Over the course of the Wuhan virus pandemic, there have been multiple networks offering fake vaccination documents, as many countries enacted health passport systems requiring vaccinations, proof of recent recovery, or negative tests to access venues, use transportation, or simply be allowed to work.

In December, Italian police claimed the number of fake coronavirus vaccination documents being sold online had surged and warned medical professionals, including doctors, may have been involved in faking people’s vaccination status.

Italian police officer Fabio Ferrari commented at the time on other issues arising from the sale of the fake documents, saying: “What people don’t realise is that they hand over their ID and patient documents to rogue individuals and that this information is then resold.”

Labour MP: J.K. Rowling Is Wrong, Some Women Are ‘Born With Penises’

A Labour Party Member of Parliament (MP) has said that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is wrong on transgenderism, declaring that some women are “born with penises”.

Stella Creasy MP, who has represented the London constituency of Walthamstow since 2010 for the Labour Party, said that while she acknowledges that “biological sex is real it is “not the end of the conversation”.

“Do I think some women were born with penises? Yes,”, the left-wing politician said in an interview with The Telegraph, adding: “they are now women and I respect that.”

Further explaining her position, Creasy said that as opposed to J.K. Rowling, she supports “self-identification”.

“I am somebody who would say that a trans woman is an adult human female. I would say that you and I were adult human females,” she told the female interviewer.

The MP describes herself as an “old fashioned feminist” who is fighting against the patriarchy, which she said also oppresses biological men who identify as women.

“So it’s right for me to stand with my trans sisters and say: ‘Let’s fight these battles together’,” she said.

Creasy added that she believes it is “bonkers” that the law in Britain requires two doctors to sign off on an individual legally changing their gender.

“That brings up all sorts of questions about what is a woman in terms of gender – what does it mean to live as a woman? I wear flat shoes, I’ve got terrible bunions, is someone going to tell me that living as a woman means you have to wear high heels for two years?” she questioned.

The interview has drawn backlash on social media, with several political figures ridiculing her definition of womanhood.

“A self styled ‘champion of women’s rights’ and yet she doesn’t seem to know what a woman is,” said Conservative MP Scott Brenton.

“Welcome to the mad house,” said Reclaim Party leader Laurence Fox.

The interview with Creasy comes in the wake of months of public debate over what constitutes a woman, with both the Conservatives’ Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer struggling to provide a clear definition for woman.

Deputy Labour leader Angela Rayner has been more aligned with Creasy, saying in March that it is “not acceptable” to question if a transgender person has a penis.

Tensions over the division between feminists and transgender activists boiled over into physical violence in the United Kingdom earlier this month when a group of Antifa-style radicals clad in black bloc attire attacked a feminist activist underneath the statue of the British suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst in Manchester.

Raytheon partners with Lockheed, Kongsberg on $400M in US missile contracts

Tucson-based Raytheon Missiles & Defense has won contracts worth more than $400 million with industry partners, including contracts to replace Javelin anti-tank missiles to help Ukraine repel Russia.

The Tucson-based Javelin Joint Venture, comprised of Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, was recently awarded two Army contracts worth a total of $309 million to produce Javelin missiles and launchers.

And Raytheon and partner Kongsberg Defence of Norway were awarded a two-year, $102.7 million contract option to produce Naval Strike Missile systems for the Navy’s “Over-the-Horizon Weapon System,” a long-range anti-ship missile system.

Replenishing Javelins

The Army recently awarded the Javelin Joint Venture separate contract options of $238 million and $71 million for Javelin systems, with estimated completion dates in 2025.

The Pentagon is looking to increase Javelin production since the U.S. has sent more than 5,500 Javelins and its allies including the United Kingdom have sent thousands more to Ukraine, which has reportedly used them along with other weapons to destroy hundreds of Russian tanks and vehicles.

Raytheon leads the Javelin joint venture in Tucson and provides system engineering and management support and production of the command launch unit, missile guidance and system software.

Lockheed provides missile engineering and production support and assembles the missile rounds in Alabama.

The Javelin — which costs about $215,000 per copy — can be fired from a shoulder-mounted launcher or from military vehicles. The system uses heat-seeking infrared guidance and automatically locks onto targets up to about 2 1/2 miles away to deliver a 19-pound, armor-penetrating warhead.

First fielded in 1996, the Javelin has been incrementally upgraded and is in use by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps as well as about 20 allied nations, with extensive combat use in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.

Former vice president Al Gore runs a $36 billion investment fund dedicated to environmental and social sustainability. The "mission-led firm" that claims to "seek transformational change needed in climate and social action" has investments in companies that profit from Chinese slave labor and help the Chinese Communist Party censor the internet.

Generation Investment Management, which Gore formed in 2004, has stakes in Tencent, Anta, and Alibaba, according to its investment reports. Tencent, a tech conglomerate, routinely censors the internet at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party and has surveilled foreign users of its WeChat messaging app. Anta, a sports apparel company, has faced accusations of using cotton sourced from labor camps in Xinjiang. Alibaba, which operates China's equivalent to Google, has links to the People's Liberation Army.

Generation's investments are part of a growing trend of firms touting social justice causes while profiting off companies that aid the authoritarian regime in Beijing. Coca-Cola, Delta, and Major League Baseball came under fire last year for criticizing voting laws in Georgia while raking in billions of dollars from China. The baseball league pulled its All-Star Game from Atlanta over the voting laws, but days later signed a licensing agreement with Tencent. The league entered the deal even though Tencent had blocked NBA games from airing in China because a league executive defended pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong.

Gore has followed a similar playbook. He accused Republicans last year of passing "truly un-American" voting laws while he profited from investments in China, which is led by unelected Communist Party bureaucrats.

Generation defends its Chinese investments on the grounds that the companies have pledged to curtail carbon emissions. The firm also cites the companies' "significantly higher upside" than other investments in its portfolio.

Generation has worked closely with Tencent and Alibaba for years to develop its carbon emissions standards. The companies "have leapfrogged Western peers" by announcing plans to have net-zero carbon emissions by 2030, Generation said in a letter to shareholders last month. Generation voted to reelect Yang Siu Shun to the Tencent board of directors last year. Yang is a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a political advisory committee for the Chinese government and Chinese Communist Party.

Generation likes Anta because of its "successful brand platform, excellent management team, and long runway for growth." But Gore's firm is well aware of longstanding concerns about the apparel giant's link to slave labor.

"Sustainable investing can at times raise challenging issues, and we have recently been grappling with one at Anta Sports," Generation said in its investor letter, acknowledging allegations that the apparel maker uses cotton made from slave labor in China's Xinjiang province. Generation said it has discussed the issue with Anta management, and says the company is "well-intentioned" in its purported efforts to remove slave labor from its supply chain.

"In these situations, there can be a temptation to divest and move on," the letter reads. "We believe this is the wrong thing to do with a management team that is engaged and well-intentioned, and where we feel our ownership can help to deliver change."

'Serious Breach:' Key senators demand update on 50 dangerous Afghans Biden let enter U.S.

Sens. Grassley, Portman and Inhofe say they fear vetting has not been fixed despite watchdog warning.

Three senior U.S. senators are demanding a briefing from the FBI on dozens of Afghan refugees that were mistakenly let into the United States by the Biden administration despite serious security red flags in their background.

The lawmakers are seeking to learn how many of the refugees have been expelled and whether the vetting blunders have been fixed.

Sens. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), and James Inhofe (R-Okla.) wrote in a letter released Friday that they are concerned the background check process has not been fixed by the Homeland Security Department and that Americans remain vulnerable.

Just the News reported earlier this year that the Pentagon inspector general concluded that at least 50 Afghan refugees brought to the United States in the aftermath of the bungled U.S. troop withdrawal last August had "significant security" risks in their backgrounds that weren't detected because DOD officials did not check all required intelligence databases.

The watchdog said "significant security concerns" included individuals whose latent fingerprints have been found on improvised explosive devices and known or suspected terrorists. Among the databases that weren't checked was the Defense Department's tactical terrorism data.

More than half of the flagged evacuees could not be immediately located inside the United States, further exacerbating fears.

"DHS' failure to use every database to screen for derogatory information has caused a serious breach of homeland security," Grassley, Portman and Inhofe wrote. "Accordingly, we request that you provide us with information about those evacuees flagged by DOD and steps the FBI has taken to adjudicate their derogatory information, including locating individuals currently within the United States.

"In addition, we would like to know how the FBI is addressing the counterterrorism threat posed by Afghan parolees that have not been screened by DHS against the tactical database."

Iran Unveils Drone Cruise Missiles In Message To Israel (Video, Photos)

The Islamic Republic of Iran Army unveiled two new drone systems during a visit by Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, to a secret drone base on May 28.

Iran’s state TV said that the army is keeping around a hundred drone in the base that is located in the “heart of the Zagros mountains”.

The first system, dubbed “Heidar-1,” is a drone launched cruise missile with a range of up to 200 kilometers. The missile is equipped with an optical seeker, and possibly a data-link.

Iran didn’t provide much information about the second system, dubbed “Heidar-2”. The system appears to be a ground-launched version of the Heidar-1 powered by a small turbojet engine. The Heidar-2 is not equipped with an optical seeker.

Maj. Gen. praised the recent development in Iran drone capabilities, stressing that the country’s will continue to boost these capabilities.

“No doubt the drones of Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces are the region’s most powerful,” the Iranian commander said, “Our capability to upgrade drones is unstoppable”.

The two systems were likely unveiled as a message to Israel. The Israeli intelligence was blamed for the May 22 assassination of Quds Force Colonel Hassan Sayad Khodayari, who was reportedly involved in the smuggling of drones to Hezbollah in Lebanon through Syria, as well as for the May 25 deadly explosion at Parchin military complex, which hosts some of Iran’s key drone research facilities.

Israel grew concerned over Iran’s drone capabilities in the recent years. The Israeli military and intelligence have been working nonstop to prevent Tehran from transferring these capabilities to its allies in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine using overt and covert means.

Speaking at the recent Global COVID Summit, Yeadon made the case for swift prosecution against the likes of Pfizer, BioNTech, Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), AstraZeneca, “and their enablers.” He also issued a corresponding press statement with the same claims.

Covid “vaccines” are medical fraud

Not only did the jabs turn out to be dangerous, but Yeadon provided evidence showing that all of the jab manufacturers knew full well that this was the case before they were all unleashed by Donald Trump under Operation Warp Speed.

“The design of these products was knowingly deficient in a number of ways,” Yeadon explained, pointing to the fact that they trigger the production of “toxic virus spike protein” throughout the body.

The world was promised that these toxic virus spike proteins would remain at the injection site, but the reality is that they “distribute throughout the body,” Yeadon warned.

Cardinal Sodano, Vatican ‘Godfather’ alleged to have covered up clerical abuse, dies aged 94

Cardinal Angelo Sodano, alleged to have been an active homosexual, wielded significant power during his 60 years in the Vatican.

Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the powerful former Vatican Secretary of State for two popes, has died aged 94.

Cardinal Sodano died May 27, after having been hospitalized in Rome’s Columbus Hospital-Gemelli for COVID-19 since May 9.

Sodano, who has been described as the “Vatican’s Godfather,” was mired in controversy over his alleged role in covering up clerical sexual abuse, particularly in the case of Marcial Maciel and ex-cardinal Theodore McCarrick.

The Holy See was swift to announce Sodano’s death, and Pope Francis sent a telegram to the cardinal’s sister, Maria Sodano, expressing “gratitude” for the late cardinal and his “solitary work in support of three of my predecessors.”

“The death of Cardinal Angelo Sodano arouses in my soul feelings of gratitude to the Lord for the gift of this esteemed man of the Church, who lived his priesthood with generosity,” wrote Francis.

Francis described Sodano as an “ecclesially disciplined man, an amiable pastor,” who carried out his “mission with remarkable dedication” in the Roman Curia.

The office for the Secretary of State for the Holy See stated over Twitter that it was “united in prayer over the loss” of the cardinal.

Sodano served as Vatican Secretary of State from 1991 through June 2006, under both Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Benedict XVI re-affirmed Sodano as Secretary of State in 2005 despite the cardinal being past normal retirement age.

He was then appointed by Benedict XVI to be the Dean of the College of Cardinals in April 2005, a position he held until December 2019. Sodano had already served as vice-dean of the College of Cardinals in 2002.

Sodano’s span at the Vatican lasted 60 years, for he joined the Holy See’s Diplomatic Corps in 1959 and spent time as Nuncio in Chile before ascending to power under John Paul II as Secretary of State.

The World Health Organization (WHO) released an updated document on its plan to access power over member states during international emergencies.

The updated proposals were released on Friday by the corrupt organization that still has not held China responsible for the origins of the Wuhan Coronavirus.

According to the rules of the WHA Assembly, they have to introduce amendments four months before they meet for the WHO so this may be months from now. But what is interesting is what they adopted yesterday nobody had ever seen before. So it hadn’t been proposed four months ahead of time. They just put it up and they passed it. And it’s vague. This was the only proposal that got adopted for Agenda item 16.2. So at this point, it appears as a close of business yesterday, we dodged a bullet.”
