Kali Yugas are the Training Grounds for the Three Deities for Their Next Roles: Brahma to Shiva, Shiva to Vishnu, Vishnu to Brahma.
During the duration of the universe (~14 trillion years), the first half (~7 trillion years) are the (6?) failures, with each succeeding one improving on the former. The other half (~7 trillion years) are the (7?) Successes, with each succeeding one improving on the former.
At the End of the Universe cycle (@ the ~14 trillion year mark), Brahma is Fully Trained as Shiva, Shiva is Fully Trained as Vishnu, and Vishnu is Fully Trained as Brahma.
And once again, the Universe Comes into Being with Brand New Deities, and Repeats Identically.
The above has happened countless times x infinity.
When Vishnu and Brahma leave the populated planet, Kali Yuga results. It's then up to Shiva.
Shiva has no memory during the first half of the duration of the universe (~trillion years). It is also likely thenBrahma has no memory during Kali Yugas.
When Shiva becomes the ONE @ the ~7 trillion year mark (after the 6(?) failures), then Shiva retains His memory until He is Brahma in Kali Yuga; God retains His memory for ~21 trillion years.
