A friend on mine used to live near Gardner got this text
T just called me from the ranch and said this is way more catastrophic than people really understand, or even that they’re able to comprehend…& therefore report as of yet.
People are stranded everywhere, the only way to get out of Gardner is via helicopter at $60 a pop. No gasoline there, and what is there is being used up for emergencies. All the food deliveries were expected on Monday which obviously didn’t happen. It’s crazy in the valley. So many roads are down I don’t even think people can get out of Glastonbury to town. There are RVs that could only get to Gardner due to road conditions etc. so it’s also packed to the gills. Even the hospital here was evacuated yesterday
