If anything happened with Wikileaks or Assange it was back in October of 2016 and he's been gone/captured since.
A single TV interview is not sufficient proof for this amount of time, people voted he go to the window, he refused, nothing signed with his PGP key in years. Supposedly, no communication with the world for months now. Vault 7 drops stopped. Wikileaks is comped now.
It's certainly possible, he had skills of influencing reddit and 4chan during the election. The_donald and 4chan/pol/ was not organic during the podesta emails. There was help.
The other side of the coin could be that they stopped him because of how influential his teams were on social media platforms and then they used this idea to make "Q". Which would be a big problem if true. Not sure which side has more conclusive truth to it.
