I didn't know they were cops at the time but I basically wound up at a shoot my brother put on putting three Officers through a hastily assembled BRM. From zero to breath control.

I had my AR10 new right out of the box and needed to zero it so I had a Zero target. Quick trip to a copy store and we had a blast.

I got to play drill sergeant.

Called my brother the next day and he's all "Hey by the way my cop friends said to tell you thank you."

I had to burn 40,000 .50 cal rounds in 6 hours at Ft Stewart once. Had a Battalion go on alert when they were supposed to be at a range we jointly set up. Army will not take back unspent ammo.

It is criminal but I can knock the nuts off a fly at 500 meters with an M2 now. Probably one of the most accurate firearms in the Army arsenal.

I did do a lot of OPFOR against the 75th Rangers as an "extra duty" for a Field Grade Article 15 I got for dropping an E6 so there is that.

I mostly sat around waiting on waiting on things to happen.
