Jake Sullivan [White House press briefing]: We have reestablished diplomatic ties with the Palestinians that had basically severed under our predecessor. Working with congress, we've restored approximately $500 million in support for Palestinians.
Sullivan: Russia has already substantially failed to achieve it's strategic objectives in Ukraine. It's strategic objective was to take Kiev, the capital, to end Ukraine as a country, to eliminate Ukrainian identity from the map, and to subsume Ukraine into Russia. They have failed at that.

Reporter: If Ukrainians decide they want to claw back the land that's been taken by Russia, will the United States have their back?
Sullivan: We are in near daily contact with Ukrainians on the question of how to, both defending against Russian advances, and be able to reclaim some of the territory that has been taken from them.
Sullivan claims Russia is trying to 'wipe Ukraine off the map'.
