Amazon Sues Facebook Administrators Over More Than 10,000 Groups Used To Coordinate Fake Product Reviews

Amazon has taken to court against administrators of more than 10,000 different Facebook groups that were allegedly "used to coordinate fake reviews of Amazon products," according to a new report by the Wall Street Journal this week.

The groups provide people free products or money in exchange for product reviews, Amazon said, which are used to hike product ratings in the hope that more products are sold. The practice takes place not only in the U.S., but also in U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan.

Amazon Vice President Dharmesh Mehta called the Amazon action of the review boosting practice “proactive legal action targeting bad actors".

"Morally And Intellectually Corrupt": UCLA Prof Resigns In Protest Over 'Viewpoint Intolerance'

Anthropology professor Joseph Manson announced his retirement this month with a broadside blog post that detailed the loss of academic freedom and integrity at UCLA. Manson describes many of the things that I have previously addressed as standard measures used to force out dissenting or conservative voices, including the isolation and investigation of colleagues to get them to resign. He is now among that lengthening list of such faculty who have decided to cut their academic careers short rather than work under such intolerable conditions.

Manson was a tenured professor in the UCLA Anthropology Department, who described in detail how the school made life insufferable for those who raise dissenting voices in research on subjects like racial justice or crime patterns. He wrote “I’m a professor, retiring at 62 because the Woke takeover of higher education has ruined academic life. ‘Another one?’ you ask. “What does this guy have to say that hasn’t already been said by Jordan Peterson, Peter Boghossian, Joshua Katz, or Bo Winegard?”

Manson described how the anthropology department was a healthy and diverse intellectual environmental until the 2000s when things began to change dramatically. It is the same time period identified by others when a critical mass seemed to form on many faculties of professors who began to almost exclusively hire liberal colleagues and shun those with opposing views.

Among the examples of the intolerance on campus, Manson gave a detailed account of the “defenestration of a colleague,” P. Jeffrey Brantingham. His colleague created software to predict urban crime through simulation models. The research was immediately denounced as being racist and anti-Black.

“In Spring 2018, the department’s Anthropology Graduate Students Association passed a resolution accusing Jeff’s research of (among other counter-revolutionary sins) ‘entrench[ing] and naturaliz[ing] the criminalization of Blackness in the United States’ and calling for ‘referring’ his research to UCLA’s Vice Chancellor for Research, presumably for some sort of investigation. This document contains no trace of scholarly argument, but instead resembles a religious proclamation of anathema.”

What caught my eye was Manson’s description of the shunning by his colleagues:

“Not only was Jeff ostracized, he was unpersoned. None of the faculty talked about him, if they could possibly avoid it. Meanwhile, our department chair opened most faculty meetings by solemnly intoning that our department was a community, a family, and that ‘we’re here for each other.’ In private conversations, I was able to elicit from some of my colleagues an embarrassed acknowledgment that the Woke faction had treated Jeff abominably, and that we strongly resembled a dysfunctional family in denial.”

Claiming “basic freedoms are under assault” from the “ultra right-wing” branch of the Supreme Court that recently reversed Roe v. Wade, a group of eight House Democrats called for legislation Monday that would create four new seats on the high court, The Hill reports.

Citing recent court decisions that allowed prayer in school athletics and tossed a New York gun control law, as well as the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision that overturned Roe’s federally established right to abortion, the lawmakers said the court’s current makeup demonstrates the need for new justices.

Georgia Rep. Hank Johnson, a Democrat and the primary sponsor of the 2021 Judiciary Act, told The Hill that the court, as it stands now, is “a Supreme Court at crisis with itself and with our democracy,” where “basic freedoms are under assault” from the 6-3 conservative majority.

Trump Responds after Charges Dropped Against Colbert Staffers for Illegally Invading US Capitol – “We’re Treated So Differently”

Several employees of Stephen Colbert’s show were arrested last month for unlawfully entering the US Capitol and harassing GOP lawmakers.

On Thursday night several CBS employees who work for Colbert’s late-night show were arrested in the US Capitol, trespassing after hours, and HARASSING GOP lawmakers.

The US Capitol was closed at the time.

The group of leftist insurrectionists reportedly banged on doors of several Republican offices – including that of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Lauren Boebert of Colorado.

The US Attorney’s Office announced that they are cleared of “unlawful entry” and the charges are now dropped.

“After a comprehensive review of all the evidence and the relevant legal authority, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia has determined that it cannot move forward with misdemeanor charges of unlawful entry against the nine individuals who were arrested on June 16, 2022 at the Longworth Office Building. The individuals, who entered te building on two separate occasions, were invited by Congressional staffers to enter the building in each instance and were never asked to leave by the staffers who invited them, though, members of the group had been told at various points by the US Capitol police that they were supposed to have an escort. The office would be required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that these invited guests were guilty of the crime of unlawful entry because their escort chose to leave them unattended. We do not believe it is probable that the office would be able to obtain and sustain convictions on these charges. The defendants no longer will be required to appear for a scheduled hearing in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia on July 20, 2022.”

President Donald Trump responded by blasting the decision saying that Colbert’s staffers “were treated so differently than the Unselects are treating so many of our great American Patriots.” He ended by calling the decision “NOT FAIR!”

Biden Energy Adviser Hochstein: We Need to Limit Oil Production ‘to Accelerate the Transition’

On Tuesday, Biden energy adviser Amos Hochstein sounded off about the president considering declaring a climate emergency that would allow him to limit drilling in the United States.

Hochstein told CNN’s “New Day” that the Biden administration had “been clear that we want to see the U.S. industry increase oil production” but said it was important to limit the production “to make sure that we’re in a better footing to accelerate the transition” to green energy.

“I think we have been clear that we want to see the U.S. industry increase oil production,” Hochstein outlined.

“[I]t is about making a choice between what is the short-term and the medium-term so that we can make sure we have enough oil and gas to support us through the transition, and what are the kind of steps that we don’t want the oil and gas industry to take that would have long-term consequences when we don’t want new major projects that would take 20, 30 years to become profitable,” he continued. “So, we have to make that differentiation to make sure that the American consumer has what it needs … to grow our economy and the global economy, but not take steps and endanger the climate work that we’re trying to do to make sure that we’re in a better footing to accelerate the transition.”

Biden’s DHS Creates ‘Office of Health Security’ for Illegal Aliens in Custody

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has created an “Office of Health Security” for illegal aliens in the agency’s custody.

On Tuesday, Biden’s DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced the creation of the agency’s Office of Health Security to “pioneer best-in-class workforce health, safety, work-life and wellness programs, and suitable, timely care for noncitizens in our care and custody.”

“Over the past several years, Americans have faced a series of unprecedented challenges impacting their health security, from the pandemic to natural disasters and more,” Mayorkas said in a statement. “Our Department must be prepared to adapt to an ever-expanding, dynamic, and complex public health threat landscape. The Office of Health Security will lead our efforts to meet that charge.” [Emphasis added]

The creation of the Health Security Office comes while the Biden administration continues releasing tens of thousands of border crossers into the United States interior every month without testing them for the Chinese coronavirus.

Even when border crossers are COVID-19 tested, they are released into the United States interior regardless of their test results, sources close to Breitbart News say. Meanwhile, DHS personnel have been required to get vaccinated or be subjected to weekly COVID-19 testing.

For much of last year, Biden’s DHS continuously released COVID-positive border crossers into American communities with the help of left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

The operation was expanded so greatly that Biden eventually began flying border crossers into American communities without requiring COVID-19 testing or photo IDs to board flights.

Coronavirus cases got so high along the southern border that in August 2021, Biden’s DHS admitted the number of COVID-positive border crossers arriving in the United States every day had “increased significantly.”

Italian Govt Faces Confidence Vote Wednesday That Could Bring Snap Elections

Italy could face a snap national election as Prime Minister Mario Draghi’s government faces a vote of confidence on Wednesday after days of instability that have included his attempt to resign.

Prime Minister Draghi is expected to face a confidence vote in the Italian parliament on Wednesday after returning from a trip to Algeria on Monday and Tuesday to discuss issues regarding natural gas supplies.

The confidence vote comes just days after Draghi offered his resignation as prime minister to Italian President Sergio Mattarella after the Five Star Movement (M5S) abstained from a vote last week, leading to Draghi claiming that he could no longer govern sustainably.

“The majority of national unity that has supported this government since its creation is no longer there. The confidence pact behind government action has failed,” Draghi said shortly before President Matarella rejected his resignation on Friday.

However, according to a report from broadcaster France24, Draghi will only have until Wednesday to garner enough support to avoid a snap election, something several parties on the right now openly support, including League leader Matteo Salvini and Brother of Italy (FdI) leader Giorgia Meloni.

In order to avoid a new election, Prime Minister Draghi may be forced to bow to pressure from M5S leader and former Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, who has called on Draghi to enact party policy priorities.

“We cannot share the responsibility of government if there is no certainty over the issues that we have underlined,” Conte said over the weekend.

Former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, head of the centre-right Forza Italia party, has rejected the idea of keeping Conte and the M5S in the national coalition, claiming that there cannot be government stability if the Five stars are in the coalition.

According to a report from the newspaper Il Giornale, Berlusconi and his party are adamant that the Five Star Movement be excluded from the national coalition or they will support a new national election.

“The solution is: either a Draghi government without the Five Stars or you go to vote,” Forza Italia member and former European Parliament President Antonio Tajani said.

“The position of Forza Italia has been clear since the beginning of this crisis: we ask for stability for the country to face the many emergencies with which we live. You cannot have stability with the Five Star Movement in government. The solution is either a Draghi government without the Five Stars, without Conte, or we go to vote,” he added.

One of Germany’s ruling coalition parties has said that forced masking should be brought back this winter to help fight the flu.

Germany’s ostensibly liberal Free Democratic Party (FDP), a globalist, pro-business member of Germany’s ruling coalition government, has said that it wants to see forced masking brought back this winter to help fight the flu.

The country has already confirmed that it aims to return country-wide forced mask-wearing measures to Germany this winter, likely between October and Easter next year ostensibly in the hopes of keeping COVID-19 case numbers low.

However, according to a report by Die Welt, some in government appear to have other motives, with the head of the FDP within the German parliament saying that the measures should be brought back to fight off the flu.

“We are concerned — and the doctors say so too — that we will have a severe influenza season, i.e. flu season,” the publication reports FDP bigwig Christian Dürr as saying.

“It may be even more relevant this winter than the Corona situation, which fortunately is under control,” he went on to say.

Dürr’s statement follows confirmation from authorities within the so-called “traffic light coalition” that a mask mandate will soon be returning to Germany, with the country’s lockdown-loving health minister, Karl Lauterbach, previously comparing mask mandates to laws requiring drivers to use winter tires during one half of the year.

“The effectiveness of masks for individuals indoors is undisputed”, government minister Marco Buschmann claimed in an interview, continuing. “That is why some form of wearing masks indoors will certainly play a role in our concept”.

“We are already working with mask requirements in local public transport,” he remarked, before adding that the government allegedly does not want to return to full-scale COVID lockdowns.

“We agree in the coalition that there will be no more lockdowns, no blanket school closures and no curfews,” he claimed. “These are inappropriate tools in the third year of the pandemic.”

While many will no doubt not be pleased at being forced to wear a mask again over winter, it may end up being the least of the German public’s problems should the country’s supply of gas fail when the weather turns.

128K Migrants Apprehended in Texas-Based Border Sectors in June

Two-thirds of migrants apprehended along the southwest border with Mexico in June crossed the border into the five Texas-based sectors. Agents in these sectors apprehended more than 128,000 migrants.

Agents assigned to the El Paso, Big Bend, Del Rio, Laredo, and Rio Grande Valley Sectors in June apprehended 128,040 migrants according to the Southwest Land Border Encounters Report released late Friday night by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. This represents more than two-thirds of the nearly 192,000 migrants apprehended in all nine Border Patrol sectors that month.

Single adult migrants accounted for 85,287 of the migrants apprehended in Texas-based border sectors in June, the report indicates. This represents a 13 percent increase over June 2021 apprehensions.

Family units actually decreased by approximately 22 percent in a year-to-year comparison. Agents apprehended 30,696 migrant families in June.

The apprehension of unaccompanied alien children increased by one percent over the previous June as agents took 12,057 into custody.

The historically quiet Del Rio Sector jumped into first place as the busiest of the nine southwest Border Patrol sectors in June, the report indicates. Del Rio agents 45,225 migrants in June — an increase of more than 47 percent over one year ago. More than three-quarters of those apprehended in June were single adults — up nearly 68 percent over last year.

While the numbers are relatively low, agents reported an increase of nearly 53 percent in the number of unaccompanied minors arrested in the West Texas summer heat. Agents took 1,187 minors into custody in June with no parent or legal guardian — many were small children.

The Rio Grande Valley Sector fell to second place as agents report the apprehension of 44,667 migrants. This represents a decrease of June 2021 when agents apprehended nearly 60,000 migrants.

The numbers fell in all three categories as agents apprehended 20,868 single adults, 27,854 family units, and 7,906 unaccompanied minors.

Rashida Tlaib campaign events in 2018 were organized by alleged terror financiers

Two men who held key positions at nonprofit groups that were found liable in a Hamas terror financing scheme helped organize campaign fundraising events for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) in 2018.

The men, who organized events that were paid for by Tlaib's campaign, were associated with a network of nonprofit groups that were found liable by a federal jury in 2004 for financing the terrorist slaying of an American teenager, David Boim, at a bus stop in the West Bank in 1996. A federal judge ordered the three groups to pay Boim's parents a $156 million judgment for funding Hamas, a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.

The groups — the Holy Land Foundation, the American Muslim Society, and the Islamic Association for Palestine — never paid up. They shut down shortly after they were ordered to pay the landmark judgment to the Boim family. The Holy Land Foundation ultimately had its monetary assets seized by the United States, and five of its leaders were sentenced to decades in prison in 2008, for providing material support to Hamas.

The first Tlaib campaign organizer, Rafeeq Jaber, testified during a deposition in 2003 that he served as president of the American Muslim Society and the Islamic Association for Palestine. Jaber testified that the two groups, while under his control, worked to "promote [Holy Land Foundation] in every way we can" and also distributed pro-Hamas documents, including an August 2001 editorial that advocated martyrdom operations and the killing of Jewish people.

Jaber was identified as a member of the "Hosting Committee" for a Tlaib campaign fundraiser in July 2018, according to a flier posted on Facebook. The event was paid for by Tlaib's congressional campaign, the flier stated.

‘A mass sterilization exercise’: Kenyan doctors find anti-fertility agent in UN tetanus vaccine

'This WHO campaign is not about eradicating neonatal tetanus but a well-coordinated forceful population control mass sterilization exercise using a proven fertility regulating vaccine.'

Kenya’s Catholic bishops are charging two United Nations organizations with sterilizing millions of girls and women under cover of an anti-tetanus inoculation program sponsored by the Kenyan government.

According to a statement released Tuesday by the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, the organization has found an antigen that causes miscarriages in a vaccine being administered to 2.3 million girls and women by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. Priests throughout Kenya reportedly are advising their congregations to refuse the vaccine.

“We sent six samples from around Kenya to laboratories in South Africa. They tested positive for the HCG antigen,” Dr. Muhame Ngare of the Mercy Medical Centre in Nairobi told LifeSiteNews. “They were all laced with HCG.”

Dr. Ngare, spokesman for the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, stated in a bulletin released November 4, “This proved right our worst fears; that this WHO campaign is not about eradicating neonatal tetanus but a well-coordinated forceful population control mass sterilization exercise using a proven fertility regulating vaccine. This evidence was presented to the Ministry of Health before the third round of immunization but was ignored.”

But the government says the vaccine is safe. Health Minister James Macharia even told the BBC, “I would recommend my own daughter and wife to take it because I entirely 100% agree with it and have confidence it has no adverse health effects.”

And Dr. Collins Tabu, head of the Health Ministry’s immunization branch, told the Kenyan Nation, that “there is no other additive in the vaccine other than the tetanus antigen.”

Tabu said the same vaccine has been used for 30 years in Kenya. Moreover, “there are women who were vaccinated in October 2013 and March this year who are expectant. Therefore we deny that the vaccines are laced with contraceptives.”

Newspaper stories also report women getting pregnant after being vaccinated.

Responds Dr. Ngare: “Either we are lying or the government is lying. But ask yourself, ‘What reason do the Catholic doctors have for lying?’” Dr. Ngare added: “The Catholic Church has been here in Kenya providing health care and vaccinating for 100 years for longer than Kenya has existed as a country.”

Dr. Ngare told LifeSiteNews that several things alerted doctors in the Church’s far-flung medical system of 54 hospitals, 83 health centres, and 17 medical and nursing schools to the possibility the anti-tetanus campaign was secretly an anti-fertility campaign.

Tesla Billionaire to Countersue Twitter, Wants $44B Buyout Scrapped

World’s richest man and almost Twitter owner Elon Musk plans to countersue the blue bird in an effort to get his $44 billion dollar buyout thrown out. The social media giant announced last week they would sue Musk to have him honor the original offer.

Musk’s lawyers are angling to push a Delaware Court of Chancery judge to grant them more time and power to gather information about bots on Twitter, sources close to the situation said. A protracted legal battle could also potentially drag down the company’s stock, giving Musk more leverage to renegotiate Twitter’s sale price.

The news comes less than a week after Twitter sued Musk in Delaware, accusing the mogul of agreeing to buy the site then attempting to “trash the company, disrupt its operations, destroy stockholder value, and walk away.”

Twitter wants the court to force Musk to purchase Twitter at the agreed-upon price of $54.20 per share, while Musk has argued that he’s allowed to terminate the deal because Twitter has failed to provide adequate information about fake accounts on the site.

The first hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, where Delaware Court of Chancery chancellor Kathaleen McCormick will decide whether or not to gran Twitter’s request for an expedited trial —a September start, while Musk’s team is pushing for February 2023. This may be a tactic to drag the stock price down.

“The core dispute over false and spam accounts is fundamental to Twitter’s value,” Musk’s lawyers wrote in a filing on Friday in response to Twitter’s suit. “It is also extremely fact and expert intensive, requiring substantial time for discovery.”

Subreddit bans the word 'groomer', claiming it's an 'anti-LGBTQ+ slur'

The move was slammed by LGBT group Gays Against Groomers, which suggested Reddit went the wrong way in deeming the term to be an "anti-LGBT slur."

Last week, the operators of the "Political Compass Memes" subreddit announced that they had been contacted by Reddit administrators in regards to certain words used by their over 500k members that were unpalatable to their cause. Among them was the term "groomer," often used to refer to someone who seeks to indoctrinate children in far-left gender identity ideology.

The move was slammed by LGBT group Gays Against Groomers, which suggested Reddit went the wrong way in deeming the term to be an "anti-LGBT slur."

"We have been contacted by the admins," PCM operators said in a post, urging members to "tone back your language and make a shift away from certain types of memes."

"It is necessary for the survival of the subreddit and preservation of our culture open to all funny colors," they continued. "1984, we know, but it is either we ask you, or we willingly allow a small minority of the subreddit to ruin the funny colors for everyone."

Among the directives were, "No portraying LGBT people as a whole as 'groomers' or 'pedophiles', calling them a slur, or deadnaming them," and "No portraying being transgender as a mental illness."

According to the directive, saying "Groomer" to refer to LGBT people will results in removals from the subreddit and possibly even a ban.

Members shot back at the new rules, with one suggesting that the admins be portrayed as "soyjacks" to show how "unbased" they are.

Upon hearing of the news, Gays Against Groomers released a statement via Twitter outlining their opposition.

The group suggested that by banning the term from their platform, Reddit was "inadvertently expressing their support for the grooming and abuse of children," and painting "our community as a whole as those who support and engage in it."

Fauci: ‘I’m not going to retire’

Anthony Fauci, President Biden’s chief medical adviser, clarified on Tuesday that he does not plan to retire, though he has been considering when he will step down from his current government position.

After Politico on Monday published an interview with Fauci, 81, in which he said he did not expect to stay on in his current position by the end of Biden’s current term, a frenzy of media speculation arose around the veteran immunologist’s potential retirement.

Speaking at The Hill’s “Future of Health Care Summit,” Fauci said definitively that he is not retiring.

“I’m not going to retire. No, no, I’m not going to retire. I may step down from my current position at some time,” Fauci told The Hill contributing editor Steve Clemons.

He said that he had been asked if he would continue working for the federal government if former President Trump won in the 2024 presidential election. Trump is widely expected to announce his intentions for the 2024 election later this year.

“I said a very innocent but true thing. I said whether it’s Donald Trump or it’s Joe Biden’s second term, I don’t intend to be in my current position in January of 2025,” Fauci said.

“What happens between now and then I have not decided, but the one thing I do know is that I have other things that I want to do in a professional way that I want to have the capability — while I still have the energy and the passion to do them.”

Fauci, who became the face of the federal government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, has served as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984.

He has previously spoken on his possible resignation in response to calls for him to step down from his critics, particularly Republican lawmakers critical of his handling of COVID-19. Fauci said his decision to leave his position would not be affected by the criticisms made of him.

Interior Ministry: US rabbi convicted of sexual assault won’t receive citizenship

Baruch Lanner, who was convicted for abusing pupils,will be allowed to remain in Israel for the next year under a temporary residence visa

The Interior Ministry has denied the immigration request of an American Orthodox rabbi convicted of sexually assaulting his pupils, the ministry said Tuesday.

However, the disgraced rabbi, Baruch Lanner, will be able to remain in Israel for nearly a full year with the temporary residency status he was granted a few weeks ago, a spokesperson for the ministry’s Immigration and Population Authority told The Times of Israel.

“Interior Minister [Ayelet Shaked] clarified this morning that in light of his grave actions, she has no intention of approving his request to receive citizenship after the temporary residency visa he has expires,” the spokesperson said.

Lanner served nearly three years in US prison for sexual assault crimes. Dozens of other victims have accused him over the years, but their allegations were not included in the indictments against him.

According to the ministry, the decision to grant Lanner temporary residency status through an A-5 visa was made by the previous interior minister, Aryeh Deri, though he too denied Lanner citizenship “in light of his criminal past.”

The spokesperson said it was not feasible for Shaked to revoke the temporary residency visa. “If she could, it would be much easier. Believe me,” the official said.

Under his A-5 temporary residence visa, Lanner can freely live and work in Israel for roughly the next year.

Lanner’s crimes were first uncovered by the New York Jewish Week newspaper, prompting an investigation in 2000 by Lanner’s former employer, the Orthodox Union, which found he was responsible for a series of incidents of sexual, physical and emotional abuse involving dozens of teenagers in his charge. He was convicted in 2002 of endangering the welfare of two girls during his time as principal of Hillel Yeshiva High School in Deal, New Jersey, in the 1990s.

Earlier this month, the law firm representing Lanner released a video about his case, tipping off activists about his immigration efforts. In the video, in which Lanner and his wife’s faces are blurred, Lanner praised the attorney, Tomer Warsha, for helping them, saying: “I had some legal issues in the United States and I never thought I would be able to make aliyah.” The video has since been deleted.

IDF officer facing 79 counts of sex crimes may receive lucrative army pension

Lt. Col. Dan Sharoni reportedly in advanced talks for favorable plea deal with military prosecutors, will confess to filming dozens of soldiers without their consent

An Israel Defense Forces officer facing 79 charges for allegedly filming dozens of his subordinates while they were nude without their knowledge and collecting sexual images of soldiers and some civilians over the course of at least eight years, is expected to sign a favorable plea deal, according to a Monday report.

In December, Lt. Col. Dan Sharoni was indicted for using a variety of hidden cameras, including inside phone chargers, to film soldiers under his command, often installing them in their barracks and showers. He is also accused of taking soldiers’ phones for seemingly innocuous reasons and looking through them to see if they had nude or intimate photos on them and then copying them to his own device.

The indictment included the cases of 49 victims, both female and male, though there may have been others. The majority were soldiers, though he also installed the devices in homes, including his own, and thus also filmed civilians. In addition, he was accused of entering some of his victims’ rooms while they slept and masturbating while filming them.

Sharoni is close to signing a plea deal with military prosecutors, the Ynet news site reported Monday night.

The arrangement would see Sharoni confessing to the charges and expressing remorse, and being given a military pension despite being too young.
