I think people who think that should be outlawed.
I have 4 pits (because people know I will take them and shelter will kill them on surrender) and a cat, and two small dogs. Plus kids who ride them. no food aggression whatsoever.
The cat prefers sleeping ON the largest pit.
The only dog out of any of them to nip at anyone was a little terrier.
It's how you raise them.
