What I was most interested in was what vehicles were involved?

"Walorski was in the SUV (RAV4, I haven't found what year so inserted 2022 model pic)along with St. Joseph County Republican Chair Zachery Potts, 27, and staff member Emma Thomson, 28. All three were killed."

The other vehicle occupied by the driver only, 56-year-old Edith Schmucker, was a Buick LeSabre. The Buick was last manufactured 2005, see pic.

One could easily argue that perhaps foul play was involved, since it is a fact that technology can easily be hacked into through intentional exploitation or other means.

I doubt the technology in the RAV4 is the first time it has been a feature, but this year's model is full of wireless connectivity. through a. "9-In. Multimedia Display where Connectivity and infotainment have grown. With an available larger 9-in. multimedia display, RAV4’s audio multimedia system is in clear view." It also features, "Digital Rearview Mirror , 7-In. Multi-Information Display, USB Ports and Qi-Compatible Wireless Charging, and Remote Connect." Convince me there are not vulnerabilities that have not already been discovered and utilized.

Elkhart County Sheriff's Office confirmed the " investigation into the crash is ongoing", "Through eyewitness and video evidence, they learned the Buick LeSabre was traveling south and the Toyota RAV4 north before crossing the centerline for unknown reasons"

I doubt the 2005 LeSabre had any kind of tech. that could be, or would even need to be exploited, you just need to control one and hope that the target doesn't manage to get out of the way.

Originally the police thought it was the LeSabre traveling north and crossed the line smashing into the Rav4, so most of the stories out there about the LeSabre driver, have not corrected the initial reporting that "Edith Schmucker, Indiana senior care aide, 56, drove car that rammed Jackie Walorski's SUV"
