Lebanon warns "Israel" against encroachment on its resources

 

Lebanese President Michel Aoun discussed Today with Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati the issue of the entry of the Energean Power vessel into the disputed maritime area with "Israel", noting that any activity in that area currently constitutes a "hostile act."

 

The Lebanese presidency issued a statement, in which it said that Aoun discussed with Mikati "the entry of the Energean Power vessel into the disputed maritime area with "Israel" and asked the army command to provide it with "accurate and official data to build on the matter."

 

President Aoun said that "Negotiations to demarcate the southern maritime borders are still ongoing, and any action or activity in the disputed area constitutes a provocation and a hostile act."

 

Mikati: Enemy's encroachment on Lebanon's water wealth is extremely dangerous

 

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati said on Sunday, that "the Israeli enemy's attempts to create a new crisis, by encroaching on Lebanon's water wealth, and imposing a fait accompli in a disputed area in which Lebanon adheres to its rights, is extremely dangerous, and would cause unimaginable tensions," he added "nobody can guess its repercussions."

 

Mikati warned of the "repercussions of any incomplete step, before completing the mission of the American mediator, whose resumption has become more than an urgent necessity," calling: "the United Nations and all concerned to remedy the situation and compel the Israeli enemy to stop its provocations."

 

The caretaker PM concluded: "The solution is to return to negotiations on the basis of not giving up Lebanon's full rights to its wealth and water."

 

Mikati's statement came after the new European ship "Energean Power", which was built specifically for the Karish field, located off the southern Lebanese coast with Palestine, crossed the Suez Canal. The ship has been set on its way from the port of Singapore to the shore of the Palestinian village of Tantura.

 

Earlier on Friday, the Suez Canal Authority announced: "the success of the first crossing of its kind in the history of the canal of a floating unit for the production, processing, and storage of liquefied natural gas (FPSO) by crossing the world's newest unit, Energean Power, within the convoy of the south."

 

The ship crossed the canal supported through the towing and guiding of four tugs belonging to the Suez Canal Authority. This is the vessel's first sea voyage after its launch in Singapore heading to the Mediterranean.

Since the landmark Dobbs decision was handed down, many public figures crawled out of the woodwork to give their takes on why the decision was the wrong one. Some notable examples came from Dave Portnoy and Kevin Clancy of Barstool Sports.

 

Barstool Sports (Barstool), the wildly popular sports and culture site which contains a network of podcasts, shows, and blogs has marketed itself toward the “common man.”

 

When outlets like ESPN and Sports Illustrated began to publish openly left-wing opinions and topics that alienated the average sports fan, Barstool provided an alternative.

 

Because of this, Barstool was often the object of derision from the far left. The Daily Beast has referred to Barstool’s brand as “white male grievance culture”, calling Portnoy, the founder and president of Barstool, a “misogynistic troll-king”. The article also focuses on allegations of sexual harassment made by several female writers at the site toward several male colleagues, suggesting that the brand promotes a culture of misogyny.

 

Some on the political right even coined the term “Barstool Conservatism“, referring to the culture promoted by Barstool. The idea is that the culture war would be fought on a different front than it had been in the 80s and 90s, but on “vague concerns about political correctness and “SJWs,” opposition to the popularization of so-called critical race theory, sentimentality about the American flag and the military, the rights of male undergraduates to engage in fornication while intoxicated without fear of the Title IX mafia.”

 

Oddly enough, Barstool and The Daily Beast seem to have the same opinion on the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

 

While Barstool’s most forward-facing personalities lamented the Dobbs decision, this is not the first time that they have at least paid lip service to woke causes. In a recent video, Barstool’s Kevin Clancy discussed the recent winner of Maxim’s ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’, golfer and model Paige Spiranac (also affiliated with Barstool).

 

Clancy echoed many of Barstool’s center to center-right fans by mentioning that “sometimes it’s nice to have a good old throwback definition of sexy”. However, Clancy went on to qualify his statement by adding that “trans women are beautiful”. It seems as if “Barstool conservatism” longs for the days where political correctness wasn’t so rampant, but is always compromising with the same people who seek to damage their reputations.

The US and other G7 nations are about to impose restrictions on “hundreds of individuals and entities” as part of its new round of sanctions on Russia, the White House announced on Monday. The measures will target Russia’s military-industrial complex to deprive it of key technologies, it said.

 

The leading Western economies – the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, and Japan – will “aggressively target” Russia’s major state-owned defense enterprises, defense research institutions, and other “defense-related” entities with “blocking sanctions,” the White House statement said. The goal of the restrictions is to sap the Russian defense industry of “critical components” and limit its ability to replace equipment it loses in the conflict with Kiev, it added.

 

Western nations will continue to “restrict Russia’s access to key industrial inputs, services, and technologies produced by our economies,” the White House said, adding that the effects of the measures will become more visible “over time.”

 

Washington has not named any specific entities or individuals that will face restrictions as part of the new sanctions. It only said it plans to put a total of 500 Russian officials on its blacklist for “exercising illegitimate authority” and committing “human rights abuses.”

 

The G7 nations will also impose restrictions on foreign companies engaged in “backfill activities” and helping Russia evade sanctions.

 

Additional measures announced by Washington include higher tariffs on “on more than 570 groups of Russian products worth approximately $2.3 billion to Russia.” The measures were “carefully calibrated” to hurt the Russian economy and spare America’s, the statement said. Additional revenues obtained through the new tariffs might be used to support Ukraine, the White House said.

 

On Sunday, the US, UK, Canada, and Japan announced an embargo on Russian gold. At the G7 level, the initiative faced resistance from Germany, which said decisions such as this should be made by the EU first.

 

The US and its allies in Europe and elsewhere have already introduced sweeping sanctions on Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, including restrictions targeting the banking and finance sectors, and personal restrictions on officials and businessmen considered to be close to the Kremlin. Russian banks have also been disconnected from the SWIFT system.

Bitcoin and others are based on a scam and was revealed here on this board a long time ago by me. The deep state stole my mathematical formula regarding the theory of prime numbers.

 

I sat with my mother watching a Carl Sagan documentary on the theories of the universe when he stated that prime numbers were one of the mysteries of the universe. I said either he is lying or incompetent. This angered my mother to no end and she challenged me to figure it out, we will make millions. I went upstairs and in less than two hours it was complete. I showed her the formula and had her try it. She refused as she couldn't do math and needed pen and paper to do times tables, yet she figured out the first primes out of 1000 without implements using my formula.

 

What I didn't realize was the deep state was listening to me through the cable box. You see, she thought I was incompetent because I couldn't find work anymore but I reminded her that I was a targeted individual after serving on 911. I worked Wall st 7 years before 911 as a network engineer/webmaster/programmer when the internet started out.

 

So what does prime numbers have to do with Bitcoins. Money is made by figuring out the next prime number to be used to encrypt the next large number for checkpoints. Bitcoin mining is renting machines from large cloud providers to crunch divisible numbers to see what is the next prime number in a sequence. To rent these machines cost real money. Companies are awarded huge amounts (think millions, billions, trillions) depending on the upward size of the prime.

 

Here is the catch, if you use my formula, you could have figured it out with your own computer because it is a formula not a test. So those in the know and part if the scam have 100% control of all wins and losses and can create a false economy based around this information. This also means all crypto can be broken much easier than brute force attacks.

 

I was never planning on revealing this formula regardless of award as it would have ruined our world. The tycoon allegedly ended up establishing his stem cell research company on the island of St. Kitts, near his home in the Bahamas.

 

Cronin alleges the purpose was use aborted foetuses from his pregnant girlfriends to provide him with fresh stem cells.

 

“I may be the only person in the world who has my own embryos growing in a petri dish,” he said.

 

An ex-girlfriends, Suelyn Medeiros, wrote in a 2014 memoir about a trip she took with Nygard to Ukraine, where he was having stem cell research done.

 

“He asked, ‘Suelyn, do you know what the best stem cells are?’” she wrote, to which she replied “embryos”.

 

“Correct! If you got pregnant and had an abortion, we could use those embryonic cells and have a life’s supply for all of us: you, your mother and me. A lot of people are doing it,” he replied.

 

According to the book excerpts published in the New York Post, Medeiros says she “was beyond stunned.”

 

“This was the sickest thing I’d ever heard Peter say,” she said.

 

“I couldn’t speak for a moment. Finally, catching my breath, I said, ‘Peter, I do not believe in abortion.’”

 

Nygard would host what he called "Pamper Parties" - often at his private island resort Nygard Cay in the Caribbean.

You misunderstand how the Convention of States works.

Congress has no part in the Convention, it's enabled by Article V to allow the State Legislatures to amend the Constitution without governors or Congress critters being involved at all in the process.

They first agree to specific amendments, then each State Legislature passes a resolution (without a governor's signature) to participate in the Convention. When 2/3 of the State Legislatures agree (34 States), then a Convention occurs. It is not a physical convention, no one gets together in some convention center to argue it out, it's simply a term used to descreibe their agreement, in exact, identical language in every State's Resolution, Then once they all agree, 3/4 of the States have to ratify it to become an Amendment.

If Bernie advocates free food for all, and proposes an amendment for that, then he would have to persuade a majority of each State's Houses of 38 States to pass it. Not going to happen.

With three months till the end of the fiscal year, at the current rate the figure is sure to surpass the 2021 record of 1.7 million.

Would-be assassin Nicholas John Roske is believed to have been radicalized by far-left reactions to the abortion issue, as well as the shooting in Uvalde. The aspiring gunman is said to have had a Glock 17 handgun, a knife, pepper spray, zip ties, a nail punch, a crow bar and a hammer, and said he found Kavanaugh’s address on the internet.

 

And while President Biden himself has failed to condemn the attempted attack, a White House spokesman tepidly said that “any violence, threats of violence, or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in our society.”

 

But the left’s rhetoric on the run up to the latest incident is indicative of the political climate they seek to create around their “core” issues of abortion and gun control in the run up to the mid term elections.

May 8: Pelosi said “the focus” is to influence and change the Supreme Court’s forthcoming decision on Roe v. Wade.

May 9: Psaki refused to condemn protests at justices’ homes even though it is against the law.

David Becker’s Center for Election Innovation & Research has emerged as the sidekick to the Electronic Research and Information Center (ERIC), a consortium of state election officials who use data exchanges with ERIC to clean voter rolls and register the unregistered to vote. David Becker has emerged as the party planner for the strange mix of federal prosecutors, progressive activists, election officials, and ex-pats from the federal swamp who now work for corporate America.

 

Becker, the former California Bear drum major—including when the Cal band played Dixie—also matches progressive dollars, state and local election officials, and federal authorities at the United States Election Assistance Commission who have controlled the distribution of hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.

 

These federal dollars move through the EAC and end up in states. How they are used, and which officials and vendors get them, is a top priority for the Center for Election Innovation and Research.

 

Becker, an unabashed progressive, is also skilled at organizing junkets for state election officials.

 

One such confab occurred in May of 2019 in Denver, according to documents obtained in the Public Interest Legal Foundation’s FOIA.

 

State election officials from Nevada, Arizona, Minnesota, Georgia, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan, Rhode Island, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania met for the CEIR Voter Registration Data Working group.

 

……Again, no conservative election administration groups or conservatives were invited to the Colorado confab.

 

Some of the participants at the Colorado confab were from states that opposed President Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (on which I served) and refused to provide that commission information about the same database details they happily shared with David Becker’s progressive organization.

 

All of this is just a first taste at understanding the behind-the-curtain relationships developing between progressive deep pockets, leftist activists, vote fraud deniers, federal officials with prosecutorial power, and state and local election officials.

 

This effort started after the 2016 election, and notably focused on many of the bluish swing states that Donald Trump won in 2016 but lost in 2020. Whether that was the plan or just a side benefit of the Denver confab and Democracy Fund plans remains to be seen.

Despite that petty corruption is almost non-existent in all sector, patronage networks and clientelism are institutionalized, particularly in public procurement. The use of influential middlemen – known as ‘wasta’, and gift-giving play a major role in the business culture of Qatar. The Penal Code No. 11/2004 is Qatar’s primary piece of corruption-related legislation. Anti-corruption laws are effectively enforced, and the country has substantial penalties for corrupt practices. Notwithstanding, the ruling family bypass laws with impunity and high-ranking officials are rarely prosecuted for corruption acts. The likelihood of encountering demands for facilitation payments is low, nonetheless, companies should be aware that facilitation payments are illegal under Qatari laws.

Moore has in the past publicly swiped at fellow believers under the guise of condemning “Christian nationalism.” He never missed the chance to comment on the Syrian refugee crisis or white supremacy or the Confederate flag — or any number of different highly politicized issues. Especially in the last few years, Moore has prioritized political commentary if it meant the chance to beat the Christians to the right of himself as not loving their neighbor the right way — or at least not loving them by supporting the policy or the politician he preferred.

 

As Jackon Waters and Emma Posey astutely noted in The American Conservative last year: “The direction Moore, [David] French, and [Beth] Moore are walking is not simply traditional evangelicalism, but a form of cultural accommodation dressed as convictional religion. The result is a religious respectability that promotes national unity, liberalism, and wokeism under the rhetorical guise of love for neighbor. While [Russell] Moore and his guest try to straddle the fence, there is little doubt that their biggest support is now coming from those significantly to their left politically.”

 

This “cultural accommodation dressed as convictional religion” didn’t emerge out of thin air, and it doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It’s a direct result of a Never Trump posture that’s been too arrogant to acknowledge the spiritual faithfulness of anyone who doesn’t share its conclusions that the 45th president is indefensible.

 

Furthermore, it’s the primary reason Moore apparently can’t bring himself to celebrate a hard-fought Supreme Court victory that could result in tens of millions of lives saved over the next few decades: As much as the Dobbs ruling is a victory for the church and the pro-life movement, the striking down of Roe v. Wade is a victory of the Trump presidency, without which the egregious precedent would not be overturned today.

 

We know. Trump is a moral stain. Sexual promiscuity. Insurrection. Yada yada yada. But after 63 million lives lost and half a century of blood, sweat, and tears culminating in an answered prayer for something we barely had the faith to ask for, does the chairman of public theology really have nothing to say?

The Billionaire Family Pushing Synthetic Sex Identities (SSI)

 

The wealthy, powerful, and sometimes very weird Pritzker cousins have set their sights on a new God-like goal: using gender ideology to remake human biology

 

One of the most powerful yet unremarked-upon drivers of our current wars over definitions of gender is a concerted push by members of one of the richest families in the United States to transition Americans from a dimorphic definition of sex to the broad acceptance and propagation of synthetic sex identities (SSI). Over the past decade, the Pritzkers of Illinois, who helped put Barack Obama in the White House and include among their number former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, current Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, and philanthropist Jennifer Pritzker, appear to have used a family philanthropic apparatus to drive an ideology and practice of disembodiment into our medical, legal, cultural, and educational institutions.

 

I first wrote about the Pritzkers, whose fortune originated in the Hyatt hotel chain, and their philanthropy directed toward normalizing what people call “transgenderism” in 2018. I have since stopped using the word “transgenderism” as it has no clear boundaries, which makes it useless for communication, and have instead opted for the term SSI, which more clearly defines what some of the Pritzkers and their allies are funding—even as it ignores the biological reality of “male” and “female” and “gay” and “straight.”

 

The creation and normalization of SSI speaks much more directly to what is happening in American culture, and elsewhere, under an umbrella of human rights. With the introduction of SSI, the current incarnation of the LGBTQ+ network—as distinct from the prior movement that fought for equal rights for gay and lesbian Americans, and which ended in 2020 with Bostock v. Clayton County, finding that LGBTQ+ is a protected class for discrimination purposes—is working closely with the techno-medical complex, big banks, international law firms, pharma giants, and corporate power to solidify the idea that humans are not a sexually dimorphic species—which contradicts reality and the fundamental premises not only of “traditional” religions but of the gay and lesbian civil rights movements and much of the feminist movement, for which sexual dimorphism and resulting gender differences are foundational premises.

 

Through investments in the techno-medical complex, where new highly medicalized sex identities are being conjured, Pritzkers and other elite donors are attempting to normalize the idea that human reproductive sex exists on a spectrum. These investments go toward creating new SSI using surgeries and drugs, and by instituting rapid language reforms to prop up these new identities and induce institutions and individuals to normalize them. In 2018, for example, at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center at the University of California Los Angeles (where the Pritzkers are major donors and hold various titles), the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology advertised several options for young females who think they can be men to have their reproductive organs removed, a procedure termed “gender-affirming care.”

 

The Pritzkers became the first American family to have a medical school bear its name in recognition of a private donation when it gave $12 million to the University of Chicago School of Medicine in 1968. In June 2002, the family announced an additional gift of $30 million to be invested in the University of Chicago’s Biological Sciences Division and School of Medicine. These investments provided the family with a bridgehead into the world of academic medicine, which it has since expanded in pursuit of a well-defined agenda centered around SSI. Also in 2002, Jennifer Pritzker founded the Tawani Foundation, which has since provided funding to Howard Brown Health and Rush Memorial Medical Center in Chicago, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Foundation Fund, and the University of Minnesota’s Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, all of which provide some version of “gender care.” In the case of the latter, “clients” include “gender creative children as well as transgender and gender non-conforming adolescents …”

Florida human remains from 1974 ID’d as missing teen, linked to serial killer

Human remains of a teen girl discovered in Florida almost 50 years ago were finally identified — and possibly linked to a serial killer, according to authorities.

 

Susan Poole, 15, who was reported missing in 1972, was connected to skeletal remains found in 1974, but not matched to DNA until recently, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Detective William Springer said during a press conference Thursday.

 

“She was tied up in the mangroves with wire to a tree,” Springer said. “She was skeletal remains, totally nothing left of her except bones.”

 

The case turned cold after authorities couldn’t identify the body found in north Palm Beach and still turned up nothing in 2015 when her DNA was submitted to a national missing persons database, he said.

 

Authorities made a computer composite of the victim, based on what they believed she would have looked like in an attempt to identify her remains. But, unfortunately, no one recognized the image.

 

The case was finally cracked when Othram, a Texas-based forensics lab that builds DNA profiles, provided names of the victim’s mother and siblings. Poole’s mother, still alive and in her 90s, provided a DNA sample and it was a match for the remains Springer said.

 

Poole was reported missing just before Christmas in 1972. She was living with family in a trailer park and with a friend in nearby Fort Lauderdale apartment, Springer said.

 

“The family was happy to know what happen,ed” he said. “You know it’s been a long time waiting to see what happened to their sister.”

 

Springer believes Poole could’ve been killed by serial killer Gerard Schaefer, who was found guilty in the slaying of two girls, 16 and 17. Both were found mutilated and decapitated in April 1973.

 

Schaefer, who was killed in prison in 1995, was implicated in up to 30 deaths. He was a local police officer and sheriff’s deputy in Marin County.

"Two former US servicemen were captured last week in the fighting outside of Kharkiv, according to a report.

 

Alexander Drueke, 39, and Andy Huynh, 27 — both from Alabama — were taken prisoner during a fierce fight with Russian armor during the ongoing Ukrainian counterattacks in the nation’s northeast, the British newspaper the Telegraph reported.

 

The Americans were captured after their 10-man squad ran into a much larger Russian force in a village outside Kharkiv, the newspaper said, citing an unnamed source who fought with the pair in a regular Ukrainian military unit.

“We were out on a mission and the whole thing went absolutely crazy, with bad intel,” the source said. “We were told the town was clear when it turned out the Russians were already assaulting it.

 

“They came down the road with two T72 tanks and multiple BMP3s (armored personnel carriers) and about 100 infantry,” the source added.

 

Drueke and Huynh apparently got at least one shot off at a Russian vehicle, destroying it with a rocket-propelled grenade before their capture.

Drueke, a veteran of the US Army, served in Iraq. His mother told the Telegraph that he had suffered from PTSD and was struggling to hold down a job before going to Ukraine.

 

“The US Embassy have assured me that they are doing everything they can to find him and that they are searching for him alive, not dead,” Lois Drueke said. “I am doing my best not to fall apart, I am going to stay strong. I am very hopeful that they will keep him to exchange for Russian POWs.”

 

Huynh, a former Marine, left to fight in Ukraine in April, according to Alabama ABC affiliate WAAY.

The outlet reported that Huynh put up $6,000 of his own money to finance the trip.

 

“I know there’s a potential of me dying,” he said at the time. “I’m willing to get my life or what I believe is right. For what I’ve been taught is right, through really my eyes, Marine Corps, through God, and really just what is right.”

 

Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, has been the locus of a successful Ukrainian counterattack in the past several weeks.

Ukrainian forces have on at least one occasion pushed Russian forces back to the border outside Kharkiv, putting pressure on Russian supply lines into the Donbas.

Subpopulation of Greenland Polar Bears Found by NASA-Funded Study

Greenland’s fjords harbor a unique group of polar bears that rely on glacial ice, a NASA-funded study reports today in Science.

 

Polar bears throughout the Arctic depend on sea ice as a platform for hunting seals. As human-caused climate change warms the planet and Arctic sea ice melts away, polar bears are scrambling to find ice to hunt on. But in Southeast Greenland, researchers found that bears survive for most of the year in fjords by relying on ice melanges, a mix of sea ice and pieces of glacial ice that is carved off of marine-terminating glaciers. This group of polar bears has been isolated for several hundred years from their Arctic counterparts and are genetically distinct.

 

An international team of scientists, including those from the University of Washington and the National Snow Ice and Data Center (NSIDC), tracked bears in Southeast Greenland for seven years and combined their new data with genetic analysis and three decades of historical data from Greenland’s whole east coast. They also used the Moderate Resolution Imagine Spectroradiometer instruments (MODIS) aboard NASA’s Terra and Aqua satellites and NSIDC data to document the fjord and offshore sea ice environment.

 

Their findings revealed that the Southeast Greenland bears are cut off from sea ice two-thirds of the year, and supplement their hunting by using freshwater ice slabs, which routinely break off from the Greenland Ice Sheet and coastal glaciers. The bears also traipse between fjords by crossing inland ice and trekking over mountains.

 

“We knew there were some bears in the area from historical records and Indigenous knowledge,” said co-author Kristin Laidre, a polar scientist at the University of Washington. “We just didn’t know how special they were,” she said.

 

Southeast Greenland’s sea ice resembles now what researchers expect ice conditions in Northeast Greenland will look like in the late 21st century due to climate change. This small, genetically distinct group of polar bears uses strategies that could help the species survive in a warming world. But the authors caution that glacier ice can’t provide habitat for many bears, because relatively few places drop large quantities of glacier ice into the ocean. Polar bear numbers will likely decrease in the majority of the Arctic where they rely solely on sea ice.

 

This research was funded by NASA’s Biological Diversity and Ecological Forecasting and Cryospheric Sciences programs, the U.S. National Science Foundation, the government of Denmark; the government of Greenland; the University of Washington; the University of Oslo; the Leo Model Foundation and the Vetlesen Foundation.

 

This collaboration was important for supporting the team’s interdisciplinary research, said co-author and NSIDC Deputy Lead Scientist Twila Moon. “We view these cross-collaborations as vital for addressing many pressing research challenges related to our rapidly changing world,” she adds.

Mom who saved her own kids from Uvalde massacre says she's now being harassed by police

 

A Texas mom celebrated for rushing into the site of the Uvalde elementary school massacre said that she is being harassed by police and had to move her children for their safety.

 

Angeli Rose Gomez said that she has been threatened by police and has faced increased scrutiny after she spoke to the media about how she saved her children.

 

In a media briefing on Sunday with her lawyer, Gomez detailed her experiences during an announcement that she was seeking to file several lawsuits over the massacre and the police response.

 

"The other night we were exercising and we had a cop parked at the corner like, flickering us with his headlights," Gomez said.

 

She had also previously claimed that a police officer had called her and warned that she might be in violation of her probation from an arrest a decade ago if she kept speaking to the media. She only began speaking to the media after being reassured by a judge that she would not be violation of her probation.

 

Gomez went on to say that she had moved her children in order to avoid the intimidation and harassment from police.

 

"Just so my sons don't feel like they have to watch cops passing by, stopping, and parking," she explained.

 

Mark Di Carlo, her attorney, said that he was representing about 15 parents of the Uvalde community.

 

"The fact that [Uvalde School Police Chief] Pete Arredondo wasn't fired immediately based upon whatever it is, hours of video, from testimonies such as from Angeli, is an indication that there is some sort of what, corruption or wrongdoing," he said to reporters.

 

Gomez has been praised for her defiance of police orders in order to save her children on the day of the massacre.

 

She said that she had been briefly handcuffed by police who were preventing her from entering the school as the gunman was barricaded into a classroom. When she was released she hopped a fence to gain entry onto school grounds twice and saved her children.

 

Uvale law enforcement has faced scathing criticism over the choice to wait outside the barricaded room while the gunman continued to shoot and kill children.

MOSCOW, May 24. /TASS/. The tribunal over Ukrainian nationalists from the Azov battalion will include several stages, with the first stage to take place in Mariupol, Donetsk People’s Republic head Denis Pushilin announced Tuesday.

 

"I believe we should not delay it [the tribunal], and a number of intermediate tribunals must be held before the main one, as it was after the Great Patriotic War. Before Nuremberg, there were Kiev and Kharkov tribunals and a number of others. Apparently, we will have the Mariupol Tribunal as one of the first ones," Pushilin said in a video footage, published in Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov’s Telegram channel Tuesday.

 

Pushilin also said that "a number of countries preliminarily agreed to take part in the international tribunal." As for the Charter of the tribunal, it is being developed by relevant agencies, including Russian ones, he added.

 

Previously, Pushilin stated that Ukrainian nationalists must be tried by a tribunal, and speculated that this tribunal could be international. According to Pushilin, necessary documents, including the charter, are being prepared.

 

On May 20, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov announced that Russian forces completely liberated the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, where remaining Ukrainian forces, including Azov nationalist battalion militants, were blocked. According to the Ministry, over 2,400 people laid down their arms.
