What is and why is there a 'critical theory'?
Critical theory extends from the same Young Hegelian logic that spawned Karl Marx mid-19th century.
Hegel's logic was to be the 'final' statement on the philosophy of the Mind. The Greeks exhausted the "physical" logic. Hegel's logic was to 'complete' philosophy as such, utopia on Earth, etc.
After Hegel died, his followers AS LOGICALLY EXPECTED 'split' into two threads:
The conservative Hegelians who interpreted Hegel's 'critique' as the final critique for humanity, who wanted to retain Bismarck's form of rule of the Prussian State.
The 'radical' or 'Young Hegelians' on the other hand, which included Stirner, Marx, Engels, Fueuerbach, Bauer and Cieszkowski, they interpreted Hegel's system as a PERMANENT CRITICISM OF EVERTHING THAT EXISTS. That everything needs to be smeared with dialectic logic because everything that exists, ESPECIALLLY in free societies without a 'Hegelian' dictator Mind 'guiding' things, is allegedly an unfortunate outcome of a cosmic conflict since creation, that creation itself is inherently self-divided.
So the Young hegelians began to 'criticize' EVERYTHING. Nothing was off limits. This logic was not to improve anything the way it is, but to crush and destroy everything that is, by invoking a myth that unless they keep destroying civilization, they (need to) believe civilization will destroy them and all humanity unless they destroy it first and implement a 'rational' dictatorship, a new 'ancien regime', to save Humanity from its own alleged 'inherent conflict'.
Every time they 'see' a 'contradiction' from absence of socialism, they are projecting their own psychology of 'notioning' a division in reality and so their own destruction is to be accommodated and any dissent must logically be 'counter-revolutionary' and therefore the bodies of anyone speaking dissent are to be crushed and destroyed for daring to want to 'go backwards' when they are allegedly trying to 'progress' the world forward.
Critical theory is a philosophy for dictatorships because IT STARTS THE (FALSE) AXIOM THAT REALITY IS LOGICALLY DIVIDED, SO EVERY LIE, DECEPION, BLACKMAIL AND MURDER ARE NOT 'THEIR' FAULT, IT'S 'THE SYSTEM' TRYING TO WORK ITSELF OUT.
Critical theory IS WEAPONIZATION OF INFORMATION TO SMEAR GOOD AS BAD AND TO EXCUSE BAD AS 'NATURAL'.
The whole project is a logic to divide everyone and everything, pure destruction is its source code.
There are no milestones.
No 'ok now every 'tribe'/race/religion is properly represented'.
There is no 'reconciliation' possible because the source code of critical theory STARTS WITH AND CAN ONLY INTERFACE WITH SOCIETY WOTH HOSTILITY, HATE, DIVISION AND DESTRUCTION OF EVERYTHING THAT IS NO MATTER WHAT EVERYTHING IS BECAUSE THE ONLY 'SOLUTION' IS TO ARROGATE SOME HUMAN VOICES AS UNASSAILABLE (OH WHAT A COINCIDENCE THEY'RE VOLUNTEERING THEIR OWN VOICES AS UNASSAILABLE).
