What a huge blunder it is for these religious establishments
to put so much weight on the fulfillment of prophecy
that they possibly set out constructing that fulfillment
and may even create their own "Savior" to boot !
Maybe they don't actually believe in God?
don't believe in prophecy being from God?
and still consider prophecy a rock
a thing so solid it can be relied on without doubt
I tend to believe that ANYONE could have inserted prophecies
into the body of the scriptures.
I think of prophecies as clouds in the distance.
Maybe they will turn to rain… maybe they will not.
The big secret they don't seem to realize is…
if they would get their dirty hands off of God's things
and watch
they might see the works of the Lord
with their own eyes.
I tend to think God won't paint his artwork
while someone else is messing with his paints.
The canvass must be unquestionably free of interference
by over-zealous self-appointed artists.
May be why we don't see anything from God.
Too many fingers in the pie.
