I said it yesterday and Iโ€™ll say it again: What was the point of the mass shooting drills organized by the district if they failed to iron out basic details like the chain of command once a shooting started?

 

They didnโ€™t have protective shields at the ready. Their police radios didnโ€™t work well inside the building. The school doors didnโ€™t lock automatically. They didnโ€™t have a master key that could quickly unlock any door in the district.

 

And now, it seems, even the chief didnโ€™t know who was supposed to be in charge.

 

What did they do with that $69,000 grant they got from the state a few years ago to โ€œhardenโ€ the school?

 

Pete Arredondo, the head of Uvalde school PD, finally gave an interview to the media after 17 days of silence. Jazz wrote about the case of the missing keys this morning, in which Arredondo resorted to trying one key after another on the locked classroom door before police rustled up one that worked. Cops couldnโ€™t kick in the door because it was reinforced with a steel door jamb, ironically a measure designed to keep shooters out. And they didnโ€™t have a master key because โ€ฆ theyโ€™re asleep on the job, I guess. โ€œRobb Elementary did not have a modern system of locks and access control,โ€ the Texas Tribune reported as part of its interview with Arredondo. โ€œYouโ€™re talking about a key ring thatโ€™s got to weigh 10 pounds,โ€ his lawyer told them.

 

โ€œMake sure police can quickly enter any room in the district if necessaryโ€ never made it into the mass shooting protocols, evidently.

 

The stunner from the interview, though, is Arredondo insisting that he wasnโ€™t the officer in command even though standard police training would suggest that he was. He was among the first officers to enter the building after shots began and remained camped out in the hallway for the duration, which led him to believe that he was a front-line responder in this case. Even though he was literally the highest-ranking school cop in the district.

 

He said he never considered himself the sceneโ€™s incident commander and did not give any instruction that police should not attempt to breach the building. DPS officials have described Arredondo as the incident commander and said Arredondo made the call to stand down and treat the incident as a โ€œbarricaded suspect,โ€ which halted the attempt to enter the room and take down the shooter. โ€œI didnโ€™t issue any orders,โ€ Arredondo said. โ€œI called for assistance and asked for an extraction tool to open the door.โ€โ€ฆ

 

Hyde said Arredondo did not issue any orders to other law enforcement agencies and had no knowledge that they considered him the incident commander.

 

The National Incident Management System, which guides all levels of government on how to respond to mass emergency events, says that the first person on scene is the incident commander. That incident commander remains in that charge until they relinquish it or are incapacitated.

What red line did you cross; on what issue did your candor become a danger to the public narrative?

 

False accusations are one of the means used by those who want to eliminate an adversary whom they fear and cannot fight fairly. In this case, I am considered inconvenient both by the exponents of the deep church and the Bergoglian cabal, whose scandals and cover-ups I have denounced since the time of the McCarrick case. And I am equally inconvenient for the deep state, which has been able to count on the complicity of the Holy See as well as almost the entirety of the global Episcopate in the events of the last few years. This graphic is now the first in a set of six, but I originally discovered the decode on its own.

The first tipoff was the tall trees.

These recalled the Comey tweet that Q linked.

When the trees appear, the singer says "Wolves, hiding nearbyโ€ฆ"

This made me think of Comey as a wolf guarding sheep.

He was supposedly a chief law enforcement officer, dedicated to upholding the law.

But in reality he led an attempt by corrupt forces to overthrow the legitimate President.

 

I found the post where Q linked Comey's tweet and noticed that one of Q's lines meant the same thing as one of the lines in the Ghost video just seconds earlier.

In short: WHO HAS FULL CONTROL? (all caps) = WHO'S PULLING THE STRINGS? (all caps)

I replayed that segment of the video multiple times, up until the trees.

Then I noticed that most of the words in the video disappeared, but not all.

For a brief period, the single word WHO was left by itself, on top of a chess piece.

I was reminded that Q has used chess comms more than once.

Looking closely at the piece, I saw that it was a white bishop wearing a black mitre.

Does this point to someone who appears to be a good guy but is actually a black hat once you look closely?

 

And then it hit me that Comey is known as "the cardinal".

And a cardinal is a bishop.

The light-activated therapy forces cancer cells to glow in the dark, helping surgeons extract more tumors relative to existing techniques. The technique was tried on mice that are suffering from one of the most common and difficult brain tumors to deal with, glioblastoma. The scans revealed that the new treatment exposed the tiniest cancer cells as it lit them up to assist surgeons in the extraction of the cancer cells and then wiped out whatever tiny leftovers.

 

Moreover, the Institute of Cancer Research in London led trials of the new form of photoimmunotherapy and results showed that the treatment could prime the immune system, preventing glioblastoma from reemerging after the surgery. With this in mind, scientists are now also looking into studying the new treatment in the context of a new treatment for childrenโ€™s cancer, neuroblastoma.

 

โ€œBrain cancers like glioblastoma can be hard to treat and, sadly, there are too few treatment options for patients,โ€ the study leader, Dr. Gabriela Kramer-Marek, told the Guardian. โ€œSurgery is challenging due to the location of the tumors, and so new ways to see tumor cells to be removed during surgery, and to treat residual cancer cells that remain afterward, could be of great benefit.โ€

 

Scientists from the ICR, Imperial College London, the Medical University of Silesia in Poland, and the Swedish company AffibodyAB believe the new treatment might make extracting difficult tumors like those in the head and neck easier and more successful.

Young males suffered heart inflammation at higher rates following a booster dose of Pfizerโ€™s COVID-19 vaccine, according to newly released data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

 

 

Males aged 16 or 17 had about 139 cases of myocarditis, a form of heart inflammation, per million second doses administered, according to the data, which was drawn from the Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a CDC monitoring system.

 

 

But that same group had 200 cases of myocarditis per million booster doses administered, according to the data, which was from between Dec. 14, 2020, and May 28, 2022. Over 2 million total Pfizer-BioNTech primary series were administered in children, and about 230,000 booster doses, in the time period studied.

 

 

Males aged 30 to 39 also had a higher rate of heart inflammation following a Pfizer booster than the second dose, as did females aged 16 and 17.

 

 

Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are built on messenger RNA technology and both are administered in two-dose primary series, with the doses spaced several weeks to several months apart.

 

 

The new data is the first time a federal monitoring system has captured a higher rate of myocarditis following a booster dose, but some studies have previously indicated that young men were more at risk from a booster than the second dose.

 

 

Neither myocarditis or a related condition, pericarditis, were detected in clinical trials of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. As the shots were administered following authorization, reports of the conditions triggered medical chart examinations and other investigations, which has led to the conclusion that the vaccines are linked to the conditions.

 

 

Modernaโ€™s vaccine is not yet available to children.

 

 

The new data was presented to the Food and Drug Administrationโ€™s vaccine advisory panel, which was being asked whether Modernaโ€™s shot should be available for children.

 

 

The data was presented by Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, a CDC vaccine safety researcher.

 

 

โ€œThe incidence rates following vaccination tend to be highest in males, and highest after dose two,โ€ Shimabukuro said. Looking at the new data, โ€œYouโ€™ll see that the incidence rates are actually highest in males in males after first booster, and females after first booster,โ€ he continued. โ€œHowever, the case counts are fairly small and the 95 percent confidence intervals are quite wide, so we really canโ€™t say thereโ€™s a difference between the dose 2 incidence and the first booster incidence based on these data.โ€

 

 

The typical incidence of myocarditis in the general population is 8 cases per 100,000 children, including 1.8 per 100,000 15- to 18-year-olds. The incidence decreases as people age.

 

 

VSD is a collaborative system run by the CDC and nine health care organizations, including Kaiser Permanente Southern California and the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute in Wisconsin.

 

 

According to the data from the system, not every group was more at risk following a booster.

Canberra (ACT) to decriminalise small amount of drugs

 

The ACT government will support a private members bill to decriminalise small amounts of illicit drugs including cocaine, heroin and MDMA.

 

The bill gives police the ability to fine someone caught in possession of illegal drugs rather than divert them through the criminal justice system, where they currently face up to two years in jail for the offence.

 

A person could also choose to attend a drug diversion program as opposed to facing the $100 fine.

 

It follows the decriminalisation of cannabis for personal use in 2019.

 

Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith says support of the bill followed an ACT Legislative Assembly committee recommending it be passed with amendments to ensure it met the government's harm reduction policy.

 

Trafficking offences will not be changed under the bill.

 

"Illicit drugs are harmful and the ACT government will continue to take a strong stance against drug dealers. This bill does not change that view," Ms Stephen-Smith says.

 

"The government and ACT Policing will continue to work to reduce supply and prosecute dealers and traffickers through the justice system."

 

Government amendments will remove methodone, which is regulated as a pharmaceutical drug, and will move the list of drugs to regulation so the government can "ensure flexibility in responding to changes in the market".

 

Ms Stephen-Smith said evidence showed criminalising drug use doesn't reduce drug use, and that substance abuse needed to be treated as a health issue.

 

"Treating drug addiction as a health issue improves outcomes for everyone in the community," she said.

 

"The government will ensure through amendments that the principle of harm reduction is front and centre of our approach to this change."

 

Labor backbencher Michael Pettersson introduced the private members bill at the start of 2021 before it was sent to the committee.

 

The committee subsequently recommended the bill pass the ACT's unicameral Assembly, which is controlled by a Labor-Greens coalition government.

 

ACT Policing previously raised concerns that the quantity of drugs listed exceeded personal use and could be considered a trafficable quantity.

 

Mr Pettersson says the limits in the bill are below the Commonwealth's drug trafficking threshold, which is more stringent than the ACT's.

 

The thresholds in the bill include 0.5-grams of MDMA; 50-grams of dried cannabis; two grams of cocaine; two grams of heroin; two grams of methylamphetamine; two grams of psilocybine (found in mushrooms); and 0.002-grams of LSD.

 

The ACT government has also proposed a 12-month implementation period.

(UCA News) Famous teenage pop stars of South Korea came together to record a video to welcome Pope Francis in August 2014 on the first papal visit to the East Asian nation in 25 years. It was titled Koinonia, meaning togetherness, and composed by K-pop veteran Noh Young-shim.

 

The country has about 5.4 million Catholics โ€” almost 10 percent of its population โ€” and is known for its many pop stars and actors.

Among its most famous pop groups is BTS. While not Catholic or religious, its members have absorbed the values of the Gospel and took a stand recently at the White House in Washington DC after being invited by Catholic US President Joe Biden.

 

They were telling the world that racial discrimination and hatred directed against American-Asian people is morally wrong, a violation of human rights, and that respect and love for human dignity and each other is the greatest good. This is a message that has worldwide appeal and relevance.

 

In that one presentation repeated thousands of times around the world, a group of boys reached many people with a powerful message on human dignity.

Many youth around the world are skeptical, disbelieving and rebelling against abusive parents and a corrupt society and are suffering sexual abuse. The group echoed the message of Pope Francis in speaking for victims of abuse.

The youth today are turned off by politicians and abusive adults. The president of the United States turned to BTS to help project this message against racial discrimination in support of Asian people, including Filipinos.

 

It was a wise move by Biden, a devout Catholic upholding and acting to defend human rights, to invite the BTS singers to the White House.

The group is composed of seven members, remarkable singers and dancers, known by the names J-Hope, Suga, Jungkook, V, Jin, RM and Jimin. They write their own socially aware and rights-conscious songs and are a force for good.

They have hundreds of millions of young fans who can have a powerful positive influence on their parents.

 

Their songs are played continuously everywhere. Even though they are not outwardly religious, they do have a belief in Christian values of equality, justice and respect for all human beings despite race, status or nationality, just like Jesus of Nazareth.

They promote the highest values declared by Pope Francis in Korea and elsewhere condemning the evil of hatred, violence and discrimination against the 24 million Asian-Americans, who comprise 7.2 percent of the US population, and discrimination against Asians everywhere.

From the White House podium, they had this to say: โ€œWe were devastated by the recent surge in hate crimes, including Asian-American hate crimes. To put a stop to this and support the cause, weโ€™d like to take this opportunity to voice ourselves once again,โ€ Jimin said.

 

Suga then said: โ€œIt is not wrong to be different. I think equality begins when we open up and embrace all of our differences.โ€

And V remarked: โ€œEveryone has their own history. We hope that today is one step closer to respecting and understanding each and everyone as a valuable person.โ€

J-Hope said: โ€œWe are here once again, thanks to our โ€˜army,โ€™ our fans worldwide, who have different nationalities and cultures and use different languages. We are truly and always grateful.โ€

Jungkook added: โ€œWe are still surprised that music created by South Korean artists reaches so many people around the world, transcending language and cultural barriers. We believe music is always an amazing and wonderful unifier of all things.โ€

 

Sadly, there is also much discrimination and racism in the Philippines, where many people in the middle and upper class have been convinced that when it comes to skin color, white is right. They spend lavishly on dangerous, mercury-laced skin-whitening creams promoted by cosmetic companies to emulate and imitate sickly, bleached white-skinned celebrities and movie stars.

 

They wrongly reject and despise their own natural skin color and kayumanggi heritage, considering it as inferior and unworthy of them. They fail to see and appreciate the natural beauty of their own heritage. Worst of all, they are endangering their health with these racist products.

 

The World Health Organization lists the damage these products can cause: kidney damage, skin rashes, skin discoloration and scarring, reduction in the skinโ€™s resistance to bacterial and fungal infections, anxiety, depression, psychosis and peripheral neuropathy.

While NAโ€™s mother was reportedly charmed by Arrafif prior to the marriage, she soon became suspicious when it appeared he did not actually have a job.

According to the report, of the 118 Confucius Institutes that once existed in the United States, 104 were closed as of June 21 and four are in the process of closing, according to VOA.

 

Of these, โ€œat least 28 have replaced their Confucius Institute with a similar programme, and at least 58 have maintained close relationships with their former Confucius Institute partner,โ€ according to the report.

 

Perry Link, a professor of Chinese language studies at the University of California, Riverside, was taken aback by the June 21 report, which updates a March 2018 report.

 

Link told VOA Mandarin that he was initially struck by โ€œhow many Confucius Institutes have been shut. I didnโ€™t expect the rate of closures to be so high. Second, they still exist in another way with another name. I think this is expected. I just didnโ€™t expect it to happen so soon.โ€

 

In October 2021, the Chinese state-owned Global Times quoted a spokesperson for the Chinese embassy in Germany as saying, โ€œChina firmly opposes the politicisation of academic and cultural exchange activities.โ€

Itโ€™s been dubbed the โ€œHoly Grailโ€ of shipwrecks, and new video shows just how bountiful the booty might be.

 

Gold coins and other treasures appear in footage captured of the long-sunken San Josรฉ galleon, and officials announced this week that they have discovered an additional two shipwrecks not far away.

 

The San Josรฉ galleon sunk in 1708 near Colombiaโ€™s Caribbean port of Cartagena. According to the BBC, some historians believe its treasure โ€” estimated to include at least 200 tons of gold, silver and emeralds โ€” could be worth billions of dollars.

 

Colombian President Ivรกn Duque and naval officials confirmed Monday that a remotely operated underwater vehicle was sent 900 metres below the oceanโ€™s surface and was able to capture new photos and video of the wreck.

 

The Colombian navy, which inspected the contents of the images and video, has confirmed the presence of gold coins in several of the shots.

 

Also spotted were gold ingots, cannons made in Seville in 1655, and an intact Chinese dinner service.

 

The underwater vehicle also discovered two other shipwrecks in the area, including a schooner thought to be from about two centuries ago.

 

โ€œWe now have two other discoveries in the same area, that show other options for archaeological exploration,โ€ navy commander Admiral Gabriel Perez said.

 

CBS News reports that the wreck of the San Josรฉ galleon was first found off Colombiaโ€™s coast in 2015, but it has been untouched since as Spain, Bolivia, and Colombia try to determine who has rights to the booty.

 

When the boat sunk, Colombia was a colony of Spain, and the treasure included gold from modern-day Peru and Bolivia.

 

Earlier this year, Colombian Vice-President Marta Lucรญa Ramรญrez said in a statement that any artifacts from the wrecks would be placed in a museum, โ€œwhich will be a source of pride for Colombia, the Caribbean and the worldโ€.

 

She also said that it would be โ€œtotally irresponsibleโ€ to collect and sell the treasure for profit.

 

According to CBS, a presidential decree released last week states that those interested in excavating the wreckage will have to sign a โ€œcontractโ€ with Colombia, and will be required to submit their plans for handling the recovered items as well as a detailed inventory of their finds.

 

The famed 64-gun, three-mast vessel was transporting gold, silver and precious stones to King Philip V of Spain when it was sunk by the British navy off Cartagena de Indias. Only a few of the 600-member crew survived.

 

โ€œThe idea is to recover it and to have sustainable financing mechanisms for future extractions,โ€ Duque said Monday. โ€œIn this way, we protect the treasure, the patrimony of the San Jose galleon.โ€

Strawberry Supermoon Over Devil's Saddle

 

Near the horizon the full moon often seems to loom large, swollen in appearance by the famous Moon illusion. But time-lapse image sequences demonstrate that the Moon's angular size doesn't really change as it rises or sets. Its color does, though. Recording a frame about every 60 seconds, this image also shows how red the Sun can look while low on the horizon. The featured montage was taken from Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, the day after June's Strawberry Moon, a full moon dubbed a supermoon due to its slightly larger-than-usual angular size. This Strawberry Supermoon is seen rising behind the Devil's Saddle, a mountain named for the unusual moon-sized dip seen just to the right of the rising moon. A shrinking line-of-sight through planet Earth's dense and dusty atmosphere shifted the moonlight from strawberry red through honey-colored and paler yellowish hues. That change seems appropriate for a northern June Full Moon also known as the Strawberry or Honey Moon. A Thunder Supermoon the third of four supermoons in 2022 will occur later this month.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) โ€“ If you have a concealed carry weapon (CCW) permit in California, your personal information may have been exposed to hackers.

 

A new website launched by California Attorney General Rob Bonta's office meant to increase firearms transparency launched by sharing too much information.

 

Names, addresses, birthdates, occupations, and more personal information was linked to the website, according to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.

 

This means the information of any Californian who has a concealed carry weapon permit might have been compromised for hours from Monday night through Tuesday morning, when the website was disabled.

 

But Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims says some people's information was already republished on social media.

 

The Attorney General's office shared this statement with Action News:

 

"We are investigating an exposure of individuals' personal information connected to the DOJ Firearms Dashboard.

 

Any unauthorized release of personal information is unacceptable.

 

We are working swiftly to address this situation and will provide additional information as soon as possible."
