If only these people could imagine
what the world would really look like
if all their ideas became normal
the moral fabric of society would collapse
the sense of trust in a sane world would evaporate
orgies, drunkennes, public displays of immorality
it would be worse than the "Pottersville"
of the movie "It's a Wonderful LIfe"
where Main Street was filled with
bars, pawn shops, and an ugly laughter
innocence wouldn't exist
gentleness wouldn't exist
the world would devolve into a nightmare
not fit for intelligent beings
and thus, respect for human life would be gone
one dirty nasty creature gone… who would care
Christian values
"one sparrow will not fall without the Lord knowing"
"not one hair of your head would be harmed without God knowing"
these are purely Christian values
that keep us from killing each other
and the only way to have a sane and civilized society
