Was just reading the headlines about yesterday's primaries. Dem's picked up another seat from Rep's in WI too. Midterms may be safe, but that doesn't mean we are not going to be fucked in Congress for the next 2 yrs. I can not understand why voting issues have not be resolved by now.

If you read at the very top of this bread is a place for newfags to go to. This was put there for a reason. The culture here is unlike any other internet platform. If newfags can't even follow simple instructions to go read the "welcome to" bread, then I really don't know what else can be done to accommodate newfags.
I often shake my head at how rude anons can be to each other. But that IS the culture. It is not a safe space. Just like watching something on TV that offends; either deal with it or turn the channel.

I remember when those counties went thru the process of trying to break away from CA and become the New CA. I saw those headlines but did not read the article. Maybe this is the only option that actually made it to a referendum.
