I'm a father figure to many kids in my neighborhood.
They have no other father to see.
I fix their bikes. I give them clothing. I have fed them.
Wifeanon calls them my Farrel Children.
I cry a lot over what they are going "home" to.
They all know my house is a safe place and I will do my best to help where needed.
They are all very street smart.
It's really very sad how these kids are growing up. Wishing to go back to school over summer so they get a decent meal. I never ate that shit once growing up.
