>A 22-year-old mom-to-be trekked more than 2,500 miles from her home in Venezuela to the US-Mexico border

Doubt she "trekked" 2500 miles.

And I thought that Venezuela was supposed to be such a wonderful Socialist country? Why are people trying to escape from there? Guess Socialism isn't as wonderful as they thought it would be.

Honestly.

And she supposedly walked right thru Mexico and about 5 other countries to get here. Why didn't she just stay in Mexico? No freebies there?

These stories are crazy. And why doesn't she escape to a country where she at least knows the language spoken there?

>trekked more than 2,500 miles from her home in Venezuela

How far can a 6+ month pregnant woman walk in a day? 20 miles maybe? How long would it take her to walk 2500 miles? 4 months? What did she eat along the way? Who provided her with food? Clothes? Did she sleep on the ground? I want details.

>2,500 miles from her home in Venezuela to the US-Mexico border

>fled her politically torn homeland on July 22, enduring a 16-day schlep to the southern border

She walked 150 miles a day, for 16 days straight? And 6 months pregnant?
