Father of Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola urges DA to charge men with murder

"The grief-stricken father of an interior designer who died after she was dumped outside a Los Angeles hospital along with her lifeless friend called for murder charges to be brought against three suspects.

Luis Cabrales Rivera, 49, said he hopes LA District Attorney George Gascón will “listen to his heart” and file tougher charges against the three men charged in the death of his daughter, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26, and her friend Christy Giles, 24, the US Sun reported.

“We want those people to spend the rest of their lives in prison and that they can’t hurt anyone ever again,” he told the outlet.

The three men arrested in connection with their deaths are David Pearce, 40, who was booked on suspicion of manslaughter, and Michael Ansbach, 47, and Brandt Osborn, 42, who were accused of being accessories to manslaughter.

The coroner ruled Hilda Cabrales-Arzola’sdeath a homicideafter she and Giles were dropped off at two separate hospitals by two masked men on Nov. 13."

A 22-year-old mom-to-be trekked more than 2,500 miles from her home in Venezuela to the US-Mexico border — then hopped on a bus to New York City in hopes of a “stable life” for her and her unborn child.

Now, their lives are in limbo.

Veronica, who is six months pregnant with a baby boy, fled her politically torn homeland on July 22, enduring a 16-day schlep to the southern border and then a three-day bus ride across America — all alone.

“The journey was very difficult,” she told The Post through a translator Wednesday at Port Authority in Manhattan. “As I was traveling through different countries, many of them did not want to let us through and for me, expecting a child, that was very difficult.”

The young migrant, who asked that her last name not be used for fear of deportation, was among the hundreds of border-crossers who’ve been shipped to sanctuary cities like New York and Washington, DC by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott as part of an ongoing political spat over President Biden’s border policies.

Veronica said she fled Venezuela in favor of the Big Apple while in her third trimester over the “crisis condition” in the economically ravaged country."
