Reporter: Does this White House, or [Biden], believe that a president has the ability to declassify classified documents just by saying so?
Jean-Pierre: We want to be very careful here…as you know. We're just not going to speak…we're just not going to make comments.
Jean-Pierre: [Biden] has been really clear that congressional republicans, that extreme MAGA agenda…is a threat to the rule of law.
Jean-Pierre: [Biden] believes that there are too many people serving unduly long sentences for non-violent drug crimes, a disproportionate number are black and brown.
Jean-Pierre: On Friday, the administration announced that it will suspend taking orders for free tests through covidtest.gov, because congress hasn't provided the COVID funding we need to replenish the nation's stockpile of tests.
Jean-Pierre: The letter from the National Archivist and the search [of Mar-a-Lago] are completely different…[Biden] has honored his pledge to restore the independence of the Department of Justice concerning investigations.
Jean-Pierre: We have seen MAGA republicans attack our democracy. We have seen MAGA republicans take away our rights, make threats of violence.
Reporter: Does the White House believe Biden has the authority to do that [remove marijuana from Controlled Substances Act] with executive action?
Jean-Pierre: I'm just not going to get into the specifics.
Reporter: How come migrants are allowed to come into this country unvaccinated, but world-class tennis players are not?
Jean-Pierre: VISA records are confidential…the U.S. Government cannot discuss the details of individual VISA cases…questions regarding vaccination requirements…I defer you to the CDC…it's up to them.
Reporter: Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane. You say that's not okay. Somebody walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated, they're allowed to stay. Why?
Jean-Pierre: That's not how it works…it's not like somebody walks over.
Reporter: That's exactly what's happening. Thousands of people are walking in a day. That is what's happening.
Jean-Pierre: It is not that simple…it's not just that people are walking across the border. We have a plan in place. We are fixing a broken system that was actually left by the last administration.
Reporter: Why is there a CDC requirement for people that fly here as opposed to people that cross the southern border?
Jean-Pierre: We have talked about Title 42.
Reporter: This has nothing to do with Title 42.
