Ukraine’s attempt at counter-offensive has failed – Russia

Kiev’s troops suffered great losses in a failed attack on Kherson ordered by President Zelensky, Moscow claims

Ukraine’s much-heralded “counter-offensive” in Kherson has “failed miserably,” the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday, listing the losses suffered by Kiev at the end of the day. Ukrainian forces attempted to attack in three directions on orders of President Vladimir Zelensky but made no gains, Moscow said.

Russian troops caused “great losses” to the Ukrainian attackers during the day’s battles, including 26 tanks, 23 armored fighting vehicles, nine more armored vehicles, two SU-25 ground-attack jets and more than 560 troops, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday evening.

The enemy's another attempt at offensive actions has failed miserably.

Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian outlet Suspilne quoted Southern Command spokesperson Natalia Humeniuk as saying that “offensive actions in various directions” had begun, “including in the Kherson region.” She offered no details, however, saying only that “any military operation needs silence.”

By Monday evening, however, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mentioned only a Russian attack near the village of Potemkino.

Kiev has been talking about a “Kherson counteroffensive” all summer, while soliciting more weapons and ammunition from its Western backers. In a video address to the people on Sunday, Zelensky vowed that “Ukraine will return” to Donbass – as well as Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Kherson and “definitely to Crimea.”

Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. The protocols, brokered by Germany and France, were first signed in 2014. Former Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko has since admitted that Kiev’s main goal was to use the ceasefire to buy time and “create powerful armed forces.”

In February 2022, the Kremlin recognized the Donbass republics as independent states and demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.

ADL-Led Big Tech Firm Runs Pro-Migrant PsyOp in Poland

Google subsidiary Jigsaw will "blanket" the nation with psychological ads meant to "inoculate" them against patriotism.

A big tech firm whose CEO is a board member of the far-left ADL is running a pro-migrant psyop in Poland, blanketing the European nation with pro-migrant video advertisements designed to “innoculate” the population against Polish patriotism and “anti-migrant tropes.”

Jigsaw, a subsidiary of Google, will “blanket” the nation of Poland with pro-migrant advertisements in the coming weeks, all part of a plan hatched by Jigsaw CEO Yasmin Green and a team of psychologists that the big tech firm has partnered with. In addition to serving as the CEO of Jigsaw, Green is a board member of the far-left and openly anti-Christian Anti-Defamation League (ADL)

The ADL, which has often been labeled a Jewish supremacist organization, has played a central role in the stifling of conservative speech in the United States, even partnering with the federal government and social media platforms to do so.

In Europe, the Jewish advocacy group has taken a hard line against Russia and other nations deemed too “nationalist,” like Poland, which has resisted opening its borders to millions of Middle Eastern and African illegal migrants, upsetting the liberal world order that the ADL is so intertwined with.

Poland has taken a leading role in accepting Ukrainian refugees following the Russian invasion of disputed territory there. The two countries border one another and share unique but somewhat similar Slavic cultures and histories.

This reportedly upset Green on a recent trip to Poland, where she lamented to the press that Poles have welcomed Ukrainians with open arms, but have closed their borders to the scores of illegal third-world migrants who are leaving a trail of blood across the regions of Europe that they’ve been allowed to occupy.

In response, Green and Google subsidiary Jigsaw are rolling out a pro-migrant video ad campaign to “innoculate” the population against “misinformation.” That term is ill-defined by Green and Jigsaw but appears to mean any information running contrary to the global left’s open-borders migration narrative. The ad campaign, which is, on its face, a psychological operation (PsyOp) meant to goad Poles into opening their borders to the third world, will appear on YouTube and other big tech social media platforms.

Developed with the help of psychologists and researchers at the University of Cambridge, long a hub of globalist policy-making and psychological experimentation, the ad campaign will present viewers with “anti-migrant tropes” and other talking points, before teaching them how to refute them. This will all take place in a roughly 90-second video clip.

According to a webpage published by the University of Cambridge and detailing their work on the anti-Polish PsyOp, Jigsaw exists within Google to “tackle threats to open societies,” appearing to take inspiration from international oligarch George Soros and his Open Societies Foundation.

In a study published by Jigsaw’s head of research, Beth Goldberg, the big tech firm compared convincing the Poles to accept illegal migrants to convincing people all over the world to accept the COVID-19 jab. Those who don’t roll up their sleeves for the jab, or open their borders for the migrants, are the victims of “misinformation,” Goldberg and Jigsaw claim in the study, and they must be “inoculated” against it.

Federal Court Partially Lifts Ban on Biden Administration’s COVID Vaccine Mandate for Contractors

A U.S. court has lifted part of the ban on the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors, finding a lower court went too far in blocking the vaccination requirements across the nation—but also predicting that the challenge to the mandate will probably succeed.

U.S. District Judge R. Stan Baker, a Trump appointee, in December 2021 blocked President Joe Biden’s mandate in all 50 states, finding the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act likely does not give Biden the power to issue such mandates.

A three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said on Aug. 26 that it was correct to block the mandate in some states, but not all.

One of the plaintiffs, Associated Builders and Contractors, has workers all over the country, Baker said, necessitating a nationwide preliminary injunction.

“Stretching logic, the court reasoned that if it ‘were to enjoin the enforcement of the mandate only in the Southern District of Georgia or only in Georgia, Alabama, Idaho, Kansas, South Carolina, Utah and West Virginia,’ then “members would not have injunctive relief as to covered contracts in other states.’ But injunctive relief operates on specific parties, not geographic territories, and identifying the plaintiff States and trade association members is possible,” the appeals court panel said.

“The district court’s other reason for a nationwide remedy was that narrower relief ‘would prove unwieldy and would only cause more confusion.’ This statement is ambiguous: it may reflect either the lack of uniformity that would result from a well-tailored injunction, or the difficulty of structuring an injunction that allows enforcement against nonparties while still providing relief to the plaintiffs. The former is an inappropriate consideration, and the latter is unsupported by the district court’s analysis or the record,” the panel added.

Its decision rolls back the nationwide injunction, only keeping it in place for states that are part of the lawsuits. Those are Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, South Carolina, Utah, and West Virginia. Additionally, members of the Associated Builders and Contractors, no matter where they are, cannot be forced to comply with the mandate.

Other rulings, though, remain in place for four additional states: Arizona, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee.

Judges Split

U.S. Circuit Judge Britt Grant, a Trump appointee, wrote the ruling, concluding that plaintiffs will “likely succeed.” The two other judges penned separate opinions.

J.L. Edmondson, a Reagan appointee, concurred, writing in a one-page opinion that he thinks the plaintiffs “have a reasonable chance to succeed” in the case but that the nationwide injunction wasn’t proper.

R. Lanier Anderson III, a Carter appointee, wrote a lengthier opinion concurring with that piece, but diverged on when considering whether Biden has the authority to issue a mandate like the one he did issue.

Several Killed As Baghdad's Green Zone Unravels, White House Denies Embassy Evacuation Reports

Update(1337ET): The White House is addressing viral video which purported to show a military helicopter on top of the US Embassy in Baghdad following Iraqi protesters breaching the high-secure Green Zone.

"Reports of an Embassy evacuation are false. Ensuring the safety of US government personnel, US citizens, and the security of our facilities remains our highest priority," a White House official said in the hours after the security situation unraveled. The official called reports of violent confrontation with police "disturbing" after a curfew for the Iraqi capital went into effect.

"Now is the time for dialogue, not escalated confrontation," the official said. "We join the call by parties across the Iraqi political spectrum to remain calm, abstain from violence, and resolve their political differences through a peaceful process guided by the Iraqi constitution."

Though little is confirmed, there are reports of several killed as videos of gun fights continue to emerge. Currently there are reports that pro-Sadr militants are roaming around Tahrir Square and near the Green Zone at the moment, with key government buildings also having been breached.
