it's not just leftists that launder money through "book sales"

thrift books is a large online seller of used and excess books on ebay

if you search o'reilly you will find lots of his books listed as "more than 10 available"

"160 sold" etc

they sell for around $4.20 to $5 with free shipping

they list them as "pre-owned" but most of the later released ones look new

one legitimate reason that a lot of those 58,000 "trade titles" penguin has sell so few books per year

is that once they have the book in their computer

they can "print on demand" one book or ten

without the old fashioned "press run" with plates etc

quad/graphics was doing this for them over 10 years ago

this is good for smaller authors because their book never has to go "out-of-print"

major writers have a bunch printed up before hand so they can all be available on release day

but if they say this politicians book sold 100.000 copies

who could prove it?

almost 70 years and many trillions of black funds $$$ ago

anything is possible

and after the gain-of-function revelations

anything is probable

when my grandad was in his 80s he lived 10 miles out in the country with no car and a one channel tv

he always invited in the jehovah wittnesses and would argue religion with them

he hadn't been in a church except for a funeral in 50 years

he just liked a debate

he would have switched to arguing their side if they wanted to

just to have company and some good mental exercise

sometimes i think it happens here
