For… at least the last two years, now? There are people who like to claim they know more than they do, and this was board volunteers, at times. There were various efforts to create other boards and get anons to go there or possibly force Q to.
It's hard to know exactly who it is and why - it could go all the way back to people from cbts who just never wanted to accept the move from their board. It could also be that cbts was some manner of hostile operation from the beginning. It could also be that it is just simple pride and people wanting to be the center of attention. I've seen people do absolutely insane things to feel like they were in control of things without the security of being anonymous.
I will say that I am biased - I am generally favorable to "Anime" and think the individual(s) responsible are more than they let on. It's the difference between someone trying to justify their invitation to a party through self-embellishment and someone who didn't even have to be invited to the party. Find the person at a party of aristocrats who looks normal and can move between the groups with ease. They are the true hidden hand.
