The billions of dollars wasted in Ukraine is probably a bigger travesty than the Afghanistan withdrawal. Any government in the world that is willing to host dozens of US bio-weapon facilities clearly doesn't care about their own citizens. You could make a good argument that there should be zero US bio-weapon labs in foreign countries and honestly, there shouldn't be any in the US either.
