Navy says all UFO videos are classified, won’t be released
Watchdog filed information request but was quickly denied.
A watchdog group seeking access to unidentified flying object footage has been rejected with the unambiguous message that, due to heavy classification, none of the government’s media on UFOs will be released.
The Black Vault reported this week that starting in April 2020 it sought to acquire all "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" videos within the files of Naval Air Systems Command. Three such videos had already been leaked from government databases before being officially released by NAVAIR.
The division subsequently denied that request, citing no such videos in its possession. A request filed with the Office of Naval Intelligence was met with a similar response.
A third request filed with the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations was finally met with a comprehensive rejection, one that said "the requested videos contain sensitive information pertaining to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and are classified and are exempt from disclosure in their entirety."
The agency also said: "The release of this information will harm national security as it may provide adversaries valuable information regarding Department of Defense/Navy operations, vulnerabilities, and/or capabilities. No portions of the videos can be segregated for release."
The Black Vault noted that the CNO offered an uncharacteristically thorough explanation for its rejection in what may have been an attempt to head off an appeal.
"While three UAP videos were released in the past, the facts specific to those three videos are unique in that those videos were initially released via unofficial channels before official release," the agency said, noting that "given the amount of information in the public domain regarding these encounters, it was possible to release the files without further damage to national security."
The Black Vault said it nevertheless "filed an appeal seeking the release of the videos denied."

As Democrats seek to hobble the competition ahead of the 2022 midterms - between Trump's ongoing Mar-a-Lago raid drama, a Steve Bannon indictment over fundraising for a private wall, and Biden's DOJ slapping 35 Trump associates with warrants or subpoenas - 'Big Tech' is doing their part to protect establishment narratives from dangerous wrongthink.
Four weeks ago, Twitter announced they would be 'pre-bunking' election claims during the 2022 midterms "to get ahead of misleading narratives" and "to proactively address topics that may be the subject of misinformation."
Then, on Wednesday the social media giant announced the expansion of 'Birdwatch' - the company's fact-checking program which has contributors flag "misleading" tweets with "notes that provide informative context."
According to the company, users who see a Birdwatch disclaimer are "20-40% less likely to agree with the substance of a potentially misleading Tweet than someone who sees the Tweet alone."
As Just the News notes, however, big tech censorship during the 2020 presidential election - ranging from evidence of voting irregularities, to Hunter Biden's laptop - was essentially election interference.
Twitter banned MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell for claiming the 2020 election was stolen, suspended several accounts linked to state audits of the election, and claimed in fact checks that 'mail-in voting was secure' despite evidence to the contrary.
Twitter fact checks claimed that mail-in voting was secure despite the warnings about the vulnerability of mail-in voting to election fraud sounded in the 2005 report of the bipartisan Commission on Federal Election Reform cochaired by former President Jimmy Carter, as well as numerous issues with mail-in ballots reported during the 2020 presidential election.
Following Election Day, Twitter slapped numerous tweets about the 2020 election with the warning "This claim about election fraud is disputed." The ubiquitous warning eventually became an internet meme, with social media users — including celebrities and corporations — posting random facts or jokes accompanied by their own "disputed" label. -Just the News

Lebanon to get food aid from Russia
The request for grains, oil derivatives and other humanitarian aid was approved in the absence of NGO help
Russia has approved Lebanon’s request for humanitarian aid, Lebanese ambassador Chawki Bou Nassar confirmed on Friday during a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov. Moscow will send cereals, foodstuffs, oil derivatives, and other much-needed supplies, as requested by Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati in May.
Discussions on resuming direct flights between the two countries were also progressing, Nassar said, though Western sanctions on Russian carriers and attendant restrictions on surrounding airspace mean any potential routes must meet strict requirements.
The aid package is separate from another package that Russian ambassador Alexander Rudakov said had been approved by Moscow to deliver to Lebanon. That proposal would supply 40,000 tons of wheat on a monthly basis through the end of 2022, but it has only received “preliminary approval” from Lebanon.
US ambassador Dorothy Shea last month sought to one-up Russia and other countries like China and Iran that have offered to help Beirut with its multilayered economic crisis, instead offering a $29.5-million donation from USAID.
While Lebanon previously imported about two thirds of its wheat from Ukraine, the war has seen a sizable portion of that country’s grain exports rerouted to Europe as barter for foreign aid dollars Kiev can never hope to repay. Even before the conflict escalated in February, over 2.2 million Lebanese were facing hunger, by some estimates.
PM Mikati urged the UN to provide food aid in March, pointing to a constellation of crises, including an economic collapse that reduced the Lebanese currency to a tenth of its pre-2019 value, the explosion of Beirut’s main grain storage facility in 2020, and the presence of millions of Syrian and Palestinian refugees. Even if importers are able to find substitutes for the Ukrainian grain no longer bound for Beirut, many Lebanese won’t be able to afford them, trade syndicate president Hani Bohsali told UPI in March.
Negotiations with the International Monetary Fund to unlock a promised $3 billion in aid remain “ongoing,” according to Nassar, who said he expected the replacement of Mikati's caretaker government with permanent leadership would bring “confidence” to the talks. The IMF is reportedly frustrated with Hezbollah and other political factions holding out hope that offshore oil and gas fields could be the country’s financial salvation and is calling instead for the imposition of a standard debt repayment plan, fueled by the usual slate of austerity measures.

"It will be a national, one-off public holiday to allow people to pay their respects for the passing of Queen Elizabeth," Albanese told ABC's Insiders.
"I spoke to all Premiers and Chief Ministers yesterday and I am writing to them formally this morning. They should have received their letters by now.
"They have all agreed it is appropriate that there be a a one-off national public holiday."
