I had a friend do 4 years for 3 seeds in an ashtray. They called it attempted cultivation.

2 joints was considered "packaged for distribution".

It was bad here. Head always on a swivel.

Now I get it at the place next to 7-11. Beer and buds all in one place.

Doesn't get much better than that.

You guessed my trade now can you guess my name?

Everybody was listening to those fags in Metallica back then. I was such an outsider cranking Rock Island and Crest of a Knave.

Part of the Machine is by far my favorite song.

Sorry to hear that Anon.

There are many jobs here though. I could put 40 people to work today if they were there to hire.

AND pass a pee test AND show up for longer than a week AND actually workโ€ฆ etc.. etc..

No housing thugh. Can't get my son and his family out the door due to double wide trailers going for $350,000 now. $1400 for studio apartments and shit.

I could get $400,000 for my dump but there isn't anything else around.

I was a NIOSH shithouse lawyer prior to the pandemic. Now they want to tell me cloth masks are like N95 and shit.

Could have saved tens of thousands over the years if that were true but it isn't. You can't fit test a cloth mask.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR I get mad just thinking about the end runs they did to get those stupid fucking things on everybody's face.

I worked for a guy who was the owner of a Casino in Reno before the Carranos moved in and bought everything.

He sold after the coin slots were replaced with dollar slots. Said the only reason he got out was he felt the lack of coin dumps over the day would make everyone just sit around and only play when the girls were coming around with free drinks. He was right to an extent though. Those silver dollars bouncing off those tuned steel catch basins would keep people around a lot longer. Everything in a Casino is designed to separate you from your money.

His house was done in Casino Carpet. Would give you a headache after a few minutes in it.

Funny. I had the opportunity to play with a bunch of machines my old boss had stored, all open. I figured out how to actually stop a couple on the jackpot. Only took about 1/2 an hour. Unfortunately none of these machines were still in Casinos at that time.

You sound about 10 years older than me. I spent the early 80's digging under the kiosks for dropped coinage as I wasn't allowed around them but my dad had a store in a mall that had gaming in it so my brother and I could get to them with the coat hangers after they closed.

Made good money for candy and shit back then.

And I do remember what you are referring to. Had a huge impact on casino industry. More cameras and more additions to the black lists. And auto sears on the levers installed.

Now the lever is simply a switch to start the reels and has no effect on them physically.

Truth be told I still live here for the ability to live cash only.

>it was the rotary dial phone

Fucking KEK. Had a WW2 vet uncle die a few years ago who still had one. He was still renting it from Ma Bell. They want that thing bad for some reason. I sold it at a garage sale for 5 bucks and told them but the letters still come and they want their money or the phone. I ignore them.

Those things could take a lot of abuse. You had to have beat the fuck out of it. Female problems?

>We also need the freedom to make/explore every choice for ourselves without taking society back to the stone ages of government control/regulation of personal lives, too. Let's not take the overton back to authoritarian right, FFS.

I don't remember any of that being a Smooth Move and I need a smoke.
