pretty much. If it was the US it would be an attack on a Nato Nation ( Germany) . Instability and trust ruined. Germany is now forced to keep supporting Ukraine and they can not make peace with Russia or pull out. Nato is going all in. It may have been Nato itself doing it also. The same result would happen.
so now europe could become americas bitch because the EU will be facing massive protests over lack of resources the only place thy can get them from is the US.
