Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison has hosted a Hillary Clinton fundraising event in New York, charging $2,700 to each person who attended 'Conversation with Hillary'.

Commenting on the event, Deborah Rhode, a Stanford Law School law professor, said:'Paul Weiss has long been associated with progressive causes. The idea that they would support a Democratic candidate will come as no surprise. Law Firm That Caused Serious Security Breach at Gitmo Holds Hillary Fundraiser

Employees at firm have donated to Clinton campaigns, Clinton Foundation

A law firm that caused a"serious breach of security" at the Guantanamo Bay prison campby sending anti-American literature to detainees is scheduled on Tuesday to hold a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, according to information obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The firm, Paul, Weiss, has long been tied to the Clinton family, with its employees donating hundreds of thousands to its political campaigns and later cashing in on political appointments in the government.

The Nov. 19 fundraiser, which is being billed as a "conversation with Hillary," is currently being promoted on the Democratic presidential candidate’s website and costs attendees $2,700 per ticket.

The event is being held as the issue of Guantanamo prison returns to the political spotlight following renewed calls by the Obama administration to shutter the prison and transfer the remaining prisoners to the United States.

Paul, Weiss lawyers have played key roles in facilitating the release of inmates accused of committing acts of terrorism.

The firm has been at the center of efforts to free Guantanamo inmates and in 2006 was responsible for causing a "serious breach of security" at the prison camp when it was caught sending Arabic-language literature that encouraged prisoners to claim they were being tortured, according to reports.

The 18-page brochure, produced by Amnesty International, reportedly "portrayed America and its allies as waging a campaign of torture against Muslims around the globe," according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

It was discovered in the cell of a former inmate, Majeed Abdullah Al Joudi, an accused al Qaeda member who was freed from the prison in 2007 and sent to Saudi Arabia.

Once security personnel at the prison discovered the brochure, Al Joudi claimed that his lawyer, Julia Tarver Mason, a Paul, Weiss partner, had sent it to him. An investigation determined that the brochure was passed to at least a dozen other inmates, constituting what the camp’s former commander, Jay Hood, called a "serious breach of security."

The investigation further discovered that Mason had mailed the brochure to inmates using a privileged document categorization that prevents security personnel from screening the mail, a potential violation of a law that prohibits lawyers from providing clients with information pertaining to military operations and current events.

Paul, Weiss lawyers were banned from Guantanamo as a result of its actions, though the firm sued the government and later regained its access to the prison.

Additionally, Paul, Weiss lawyers won the release of at least two accused terrorists being held at Guantanamo, including Al Joudi and Yousef Al Shehri, who later resumed his tied with terrorists and was killed in a shootout after being freed from the prison.

The relationship between Paul, Weiss and the Clinton family stretches back years. Employees of the firm have donated more than $276,000 to Clinton’s political campaign, political action committees, and the Ready For Hillary Super PAC, according to financial disclosures.

The law firm has also donated to the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

This relationship has benefitted Paul, Weiss employees, some of whom served under Clinton during her tenure as the secretary of state.

Todd Stern, a former Paul, Weiss employee, was appointed as Clinton’s special envoy for climate change and also served in Bill Clinton’s presidential administration.

Jeh Johnson, the current secretary of Homeland Security, was a former Paul, Weiss employee and was first appointed general counsel of the Department of the Air Force by Bill Clinton in 1998.

Two other former Paul, Weiss employees, Paul Bender and Melissa Prober, currently work as counselors at the Clinton Foundation.

Shall we play a game?

Find the spider(s) and build the web (the ‘map’).

Remember, they consider you to be the fly (specifically, the ‘feeder’).

Remember, they never thought she was going to lose.

Therefore, they never thought investigations and/or public interest into their criminal acts would be exposed/investigated.

Therefore, they never thought they had anything to fear.

Therefore, they openly showcase their symbolism.

Therefore, they were sloppy.

Hussein’s last speech in Chicago re: ‘scandal free’.

Why did he continually emphasize that phrase?

As a backup, they infiltrated and control the narrative (the ‘MSM’).

As a backup, they install only those on the team.

As a backup, they blackmail those that aren’t.

As a backup, they defined ‘conspiracy’ as crazy/mentally unstable and label anything ‘true’ as such.

This works given most of what they engage in is pure evil and simply unbelievable (hard to swallow).

The ‘fix’ has always been in – no matter which party won the election (-JFK (killed)/Reagan(shot)).

This was always the promise made to those who played the game (willingly or otherwise) (i.e., they would never lose power).

Power of the (3) letter agencies.

Power over the US Military (WW dominance to push against other nations and install like-kind).

These people are really stupid.

Follow the husbands.

>Rice

U.N. Ambassador: Susan E. Rice

By Kate PickertTuesday, Dec. 02, 2008

John Gress / Reuters

On paper, President-elect Barack Obama's choice for United Nations ambassador has much in common with another boundary-breaking, African-American, Stanford-affiliated, female foreign policy expert with the same surname. But the similarities with Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice end there. Susan Rice brings to the U.N. job a career devotion to African affairs and eight years of experience in the Clinton administration.

Fast Facts:

• Age 44, Rice is married to Canadian journalist Ian Cameron, executive producer of ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos. They met in college when she was a freshman and he was a senior and are the parents of two children.

• She's a Washington, D.C. native and the first African-American woman named as U.S. ambassador to the U.N.

• Her father, Emmett Rice, was a governor of the Federal Reserve System. Her mother, Lois Dickson Fitt, is an academic scholar whose parents were born in Jamaica. Raised in a household that stressed education and public affairs knowledge, when Nixon resigned from office, a 9-year-old Rice was the one who told her parents the news.

• She attended the prestigious National Cathedral School, an all-girls academy. She was a star point guard on the basketball team and was known as "Spo," short for "Sportin'." She also lettered in two other varsity sports, and was president of the student council and valedictorian of her class.

• She earned her bachelor's degree from Stanford University went on to earn a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford, where got her master's degree and wrote a doctoral dissertation on the transformation of white-ruled Rhodesia into black-ruled Zimbabwe. While a college student, she launched a divestment effort to protest South African apartheid. After earning her Ph.D. at age 25, she briefly worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company.

• In her mid-20s, she worked as a foreign policy aide to Michael Dukakis during his 1988 presidential run. She later worked for John Kerry's 2004 campaign and was a senior foreign policy advisor to the Obama campaign.

• Rice was Clinton's top Africa diplomat when al Qaeda bombed the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, which led to her first middle-of-the-night official phone call — from Kenya's ambassador alerting her to the attacks. Working for Clinton's National Security Council, she also dealt with issues related to the 1994 Rwandan genocide, including the president's widely criticized decision not to intervene. In 1995, she was appointed the NSA's lead Africa expert; she became pregnant with her first child while in the post and didn't take leave until one day before her son was born. She later served as assistant secretary of state for African Affairs in her early 30s. After leaving the state department, she worked as a senior fellow for the Brookings Institution.

• According to an article in the Stanford alumni magazine, while an assisant secretary of state, Rice once listened as Nigerian opposition leaders praised a recent tough speech she had given, completely unaware that the 5-foot-3, 33-year-old Rice was the one who had delivered it. Rice waited until the discussion had ended, smiled and introduced herself, shocking the men.

• Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is a longtime family friend and mentor.
