Reporter: To what extent would you ascribe climate change as a reason for what's happening with these storms?

Criswell [FEMA administrator, White House press conference]: We're seeing, without a doubt, an increase in the number of storms that are happening, and the severity of storms.

Jean-Pierre: That is not what [Harris] said. She was clearly taking about long-term investment, not FEMA aid for hurricane response efforts.
