Reporter: To what extent would you ascribe climate change as a reason for what's happening with these storms?

Reporter: Republicans criticized [Harris's] comments about the role of equity in responding to the storms…the suggestion that people of color would get an advantage of some kind with the rebuilding efforts.
Jean-Pierre: That is not what [Harris] said. She was clearly taking about long-term investment, not FEMA aid for hurricane response efforts.
