The FBI seemed more than willing to allow dossier fabricator Danchenko to lie to them about Trump and Russia. They all knew he was lying Strzok, Page, Somma, Auten, Laufman, et al yet they never sought a 1001 false statement charge against him. Instead, they put him on their payroll as a Confidential Human Source, thereby protecting him from outside scrutiny under the national security rubric of "sources and methods." And they kept milking him for dirt on Trump, all the while telling the FISA spy court he was "truthful and cooperative," which was a brazen falsehood
